yeri.

i finish picking up some snacks with mina and something catch my attention. i look over at the deserts that were left over and a small cake with vanilla frosting, topped with a strawberry and a small blueberry. i grab one and pack into one of the small styrofoam box and close it. i finally pay for it and we both walk up the stairs to the classroom.

"so, why did you buy something extra? i know you like strawberries, but you've already eaten a lot during lunch. who's it for?" mina asks as she munches on the last few of her chips.

"oh, umm well. i was going to give it to mark because he had given me one of the last strawberry milks. i thought i could repay him, you know." i said and look at mina.

"okay, come on. we might be late to the class, and we both know what will happen if we're late." mina says and we run up the stairs into the classroom.

i look around the classroom and my eyes land on mark. he was hitting his head on his desk, and i frown a little. i set everything else on my desk and walk towards mark's desk. i slip my hand underneath his forehead, making him stop hitting himself. he looks up and i give him a small smile.

"here, i thought you would want something back after you gave up the milk." i said and handed him the small cake. 

"oh, thank you. you didn't really have to do that. i really didn't mind." mark said and i saw a light dust of pink blush on his cheeks.

"also don't hit yourself on the desk, you will regret it in the future." i said before walking back to my seat.

i sat back into my seat with a smile on my face, and mina sat beside me giving me a thumbs up. the bell soon rang and it notified students to take a seat and get ready for attendance. i go up to front of the class and read off the names of each student; we did this because some students would not show to classes after lunch, and teachers find it helpful. i finish taking attendance and i steal a small glance at mark.

sitting back down in my seat, the teacher thanked me and started the class. mark sat in the back with xiaojun and lucas, i don't understand why the teacher sat us like this, but i guess it was fine. i sat in the front as the students picked me as their class president. 

the class slowly finished up and the teacher sat it their seat while student finished up work for this class or any other class. we all handed in assignments that needed to be graded and the bell soon rang. we had a short break and i decided to freshen up in the bathroom. 

as i walk out of the room, i hit someone's back and fell on the floor. i look back up and someone smiles down at me. they bring their hand down as they offer it to me. i quickly grabbed onto their hand, but someone walks out of the classroom. i look over at the door and, my smiles quickly fades away.
