it's a few days before christmas eve and everyone was helping around the house; we were setting up the tree and christmas lights. taeyong and seulgi decided to cook dinner for us, as we were ordering take out for the last few days. johnny and wendy are setting up the tree, while jaehyun and irene are outside with lucas and yuqi, setting up the lights and decorations. doyoung and joy were wrapping presents in the living room. yeri and i didn't have much to do as there wasn't much to do.

"yeri. mark. why don't you guys go to the convenience store and buy some snacks? here, take the money and buy snacks for later." taeyong said and handed us the money.

"let's go?" i asked, putting my shoes on.

"yeah, let me just grab my coat." yeri said and grabbing her coat.

we head out to the nearest convenience store and it was snowing a little bit. as we arrive, yeri grabs a basket and we both start to fill the basket. soon we fill the basket and bring it to the counter. as the cashier checks out all of the snacks, yeri wanted to make some ramen before we left. she paid for it earlier and started to make it. i grab the bags and sat in front of yeri.

"so how are you and that jungkook guy?" i asked and stole some of her ramen.

"first of all, i don't even like him. i've been trying to avoid him, but he keeps butting in. honestly, it's just getting annoying." yeri said and finishes up her ramen. 

"hurry up, taeyong and seulgi might be looking for us. i also have to head somewhere later." i said and picked up the bags.

"where do you have to go? and here let me help you." yeri asked and tried to grab onto the bags.

"no it's fine. the house isn't even that far. i have to pick up something from the store. i had ordered something and they told me that it was ready." i said and we walk the rest of the way to the house.

as we inch closer to the house, we see irene and yuqi watching lucas and jaehyun put up the lights. we walk in before waving to them; we set the food on the table and yeri starts to organize the snacks in the pantry. i haven't taken my coat off or shoes; i was going to head out again anyways. i just needed to find my keys before i leave.

"mark, where you heading to?" seulgi asked, wiping down the table.

"oh, i just need to pick something up." i said and seulgi nods.

i finally find my keys and get into my car. the snow had died down a bit and i drove to the mall. i stop the engine and walk to the jewelry store. as i walk in, the manager greets me at the door and i wave at them. i walk to the register and pay for the necklace and bracelet.

"i hope this special someone enjoys the gift. it's almost christmas anyways." the manager says and i nod.

"i hope so, too." i say and hold onto the bag that held the necklace and bracelet.

as soon as i left, i got to my car and opened the boxes. i decided to buy the necklace yeri looked at the other day, but i added something else.
