The next morning you were walking into the kitchen when your mum went to answer the door. In the corner of your eye you thought you saw a blond quiff, then laughed to yourself at how silly that was.

"Oh that's nice Luke, tell your mum I said thanks", you heard your mum say and poked your head out within a second, effortlessly wearing a psychotic look on your terrified face.

Luke wiggled his eyebrows at you and all you could think of were a bunch of curse words in your head. Your mum turned around holding some cupcakes on a plate, "Oh honey, look what Liz made, isn't that lovely?"

You gave her a tight lipped smile, biting your inner cheeks not to swear aloud before you managed to utter, "Yes... very."

Your mum quickly stepped aside, "How rude of me, I'm sorry darling, come in."

When Luke passed by your mother he stuck his tongue out at you when he was out of her radar. You clenched your fists so hard you could feel your nails dig into the skin.

"I'm glad you're getting along", you mum says chirpy.

"What?", you ask her raising your upper lip in confusion.

"You asked him to come hang out, right?", she raised her eyebrows at you going into the kitchen to put the plate away. "Oh that, yeah", you mumble going with the flow when you cracked his lie and pushed him hard in front of you towards the stairs.

As you walked upstairs, you pinched his bicep. "Oww, what'd you do that for?", he squealed rubbing the spot.

        "Because you're a liar, Hemmings."

He scoffed, seemingly offended, as he muttered, "It's not like you're any better either." Every word he spoke was for an unknown reason a trigger to the violent girl in you. You kept pushing his back hard as you walked behind him until you reached the top of the staircase.

"What's your problem?!", he growled through his teeth when he finally faced you.

"You are, now the the fuck inside", you grumbled and harshly opened the door to your room.
