"So, Hemmings", you tried to start a conversation. He laughed, "Do you even know my name?
You curled your lip in before confessing, "No... Not really. My family is on good terms will all neighbour families, including yours, so I only caught on the last name."
He smiled understanding, "Well, dear Y/N, I'm Luke."
You narrowed your eyes at him, tightening your lips together for a moment. "Let me guess.... You heard my mum yelling at me the other day?", you asked like it was nothing new to hear your full name being called out.
He nodded, "I didn't particularly agree with her, however. I thought the music volume was just fine." You giggled at the smooth move, but didn't let him off the hook that easily.
"So, lead me to your room. I wanna see how much is visible of mine from there", you demand holding your chin high. He stretched his arm out towards a room you spent the night in. "Wait, that one's yours? I'm sorry for kicking you out of your own room", you say in a higher tone.
"Apology accepted", he said as he walked behind you into the bedroom, "because that's not how I planned on getting you here." You playfully slap his firm bicep, getting him to chuckle.
You dragged yourself to the window, pulling apart the nearly transparent white curtains. "Oh. Damn", that was your only reaction you had at the time. Luke nervously lowered his head scratching the back of his neck, "Yeah..." You keep looking in your room with your mouth open, "That's some pretty clear shot of... everything." He was now visibly trouble as he panicky exclaimed a "Yepp."
"But you don't ever look there, right?", you turned to him with an innocent look. His adam's apple went up an down as he choked up his answer, "N-no." You clapped your hands together exclaiming, "Excellent!" Your eye twitched at the sound, "Now, do you maybe have an Aspirin here because my head's about to blow."
Seemingly relieved and believing he's off the hook,. he ran off to the bathroom across his room to get the pill. When he got back, he dropped it in your open palm.
"Let's go downstairs so I can get you a glass of water with that."
