Nicki POV
As I was making breakfast for my mother I saw Meek come down the stairs I immediately rolled my eyes he disgusts me
"Good morning babe, where's my breakfast?" He asked
"Go ask your baby mama" I said
He sighed
"So you're still angry huh?" He asked
"Angry doesn't even describe how I feel right now" I said
"Okay lemme take you to work we'll talk about this later" he said
"You're not taking me to work I can drive myself" I said
"Nicki please" he said
"I said I can drive myself, you should be driving your baby mama to the hospital" I said then took an apple then left
I got in my car and drove to work men are honestly trash I got to work I went straight to my office I locked the door and decided to play a game before I start working
My peers are out there living their lives to the fullest and I'm stuck in a loveless marriage with Meek and on top of that I don't have friends who I can talk to I mean I do have friends but they are not the type of friends who you can confide in they are serious hoes
I started on my work as I was working there was a knock on my door
"Come in" I said
I stopped what I was doing and Meek walked in I rolled my eyes
He locked the door behind him
"What do you want Meek?" I asked annoyed
"I came here to talk to you" he said
"I'm busy, can't this wait?" I asked
"No"
I closed my laptop then folded my arms
"Talk" I said
"I know I messed up and I really thought she would abort the baby cause I don't want her to have my kid, I really fucked up and I don't expect you to feel sorry for me I've been the worst husband but I'm trying my best to be a good husband, one that you deserve" he said
"Are you done?" I asked
He nodded
"Please leave I'd like to get back to my work" I said
"Baby please" he pleaded
"Meek I let you mistreat me and disrespect me for a long time, I love you but this isn't how love should be maybe we're not meant to be together" I said
"What? Are you divorcing me?" He asked
"No, I think we need a break from each other" I said taking off my ring and giving it to him
"So you don't want me no more?" He asked
"I don't know, time will tell but for now I don't want you near me" I said
He nodded
"It's cool" he said
"And I'll need you to move out for a while" I said
He nodded
"I'm sorry Nika" he said then left
He used to call me Nika back in high school
I feel horrible now
Did I make the right decision?

After a long day at work I got home and it was extremely quiet I went to my mom's bedroom and she was sleeping I went to my room to change it was kinda empty all of Meek's things were gone
I didn't expect him to move out so quickly
I sighed and threw myself on the bed after a while of thinking I changed and ordered Chinese food then watched Netflix there was a knock at the door I got up and opened the door it was Meek I frowned
"What?" I asked with an attitude
"I just came to get my things from the study room" he said
"Well hurry up" I said
He went to the study room then came back 5 minutes later
"Nicki" he called my name
"What Meek?!" I semi yelled
"Never mind, goodbye" he said then left
I closed the door behind him and went back to my previous spot I got comfortable on the couch after watching about 2 episodes my mom woke up and she sat with me
"Where's Meek?" She asked
"Uhm he moved out" I said
"Why? What happened?" She asked
"We broke up" I said
She looked at me
"It's complicated mom, don't worry it's nothing that big" I said
"You better not be lying to me little girl" she said
"I'm not, your food is in the oven make sure you eat it and take your medication old girl" I said
She laughed
After dining with my mom for a while we both went to sleep I couldn't sleep without Meek I'm used to having his arms around me I kept tossing and turning
I miss my husband I shouldn't have acted so cold towards him

Meek POV
I found some small apartment although it is small it is big enough for me since I live alone I ordered a pizza and played PlayStation
I guess I deserve everything coming my way I treated Nicki like trash so I'm not surprised with her behavior I just hope one day we will be able to fix things cause I don't think I can live without her
After eating I cleaned up my mess then took a shower then went to bed
Tomorrow imma start job hunting

I woke up around 6 am and got ready for this long day ahead of me I ain't got no food in here so I ate Cheetos it was either that or hunger after eating my breakfast I drank a glass of water and went out into the world I need to get my life in order
After job hunting for almost 3 hours I got a job at some shoe shop as a sales assistant it ain't my kind of job but it's better than nothing and I start today
I was happy as shit at least I won't be sitting around at home doing nothing
My first day wasn't that bad after work I went grocery shopping I need food to survive I got some burger and fries for dinner I got to my apartment and packed everything where it needs to be I sat down and had my food after dinner I decided to call Nicki and check up on her but she declined my calls 3 times in a row I threw away my trash and got ready for bed
