Meek POV
Nicki and I went shopping she wanted to buy clothes for Faith and not me
I thought that she was going to spoil her handsome husband but I was wrong
"She's going to wear this when she goes to her boyfriend's house" she said holding up some shorts
"Hell nah, my babygirl ain't going to no boy's house and she damn sure ain't gon' be wearing shorts exposing her goods" I said
She laughed
"Well she'll be exposing her little goods to us, can I please buy it Meek?"
"Yeah go ahead" I said
She bought a lotta of clothes including 5 dresses and 4 pairs of jeans like Faith is going to go to an important event or meeting
We got in the car and drove to Leah's place
I parked the car in the driveway
"You think Faith gon' like these clothes?" She asked
"She's definitely gon' love them"
She smiled and her smile immediately disappeared as she looked in front
"There's smoke coming out of the windows" she said
"What?" I asked
I got out of the car and there was indeed smoke coming out of the windows
I ran towards the house I knocked down the door and got in there was smoke everywhere Faith was screaming her little lungs out Nicki got in behind me and took out Faith
I went to the kitchen and the smoke was coming from the stove I threw the pot outside and switched off the store I took a jug of water and poured water all over the stove
"Leah! Leah!" I yelled going into her bedroom
I opened the door to her bedroom and found her sleeping on the table I woke her up and carried her outside
She coughed like she had TB
"Are you out of your mind? You tryna kill my baby?" I asked
"I'm sorry Meek it was a mistake, I was trying to study and cook while Faith was sleeping I wouldn't harm my baby"
"You should go to jail" I yelled
"Meek stop it, don't talk to her like that" Nicki said
"She tried to kill my baby"
"It wasn't on purpose" she said
"I should beat the shit out of you, if anything goes wrong with my baby I'll never forgive you" I said
We opened all the doors and windows in the house so the smoke could go away while we waited for the paramedics
I couldn't even look at Leah if I didn't get here on time my baby would've been dead
The paramedics arrived and took them to the hospital and Faith was okay Leah had to spend a night at the hospital cause she inhaled a lot of smoke
"I'm taking my baby home with me" I said to Leah
"I can also take care of her"
"You want to kill my baby with oxygen now?" I asked
"Meek stop it" Nicki said
"Don't side with her" I said
"Don't talk to me like that Meek I'm your wife not your servant" she said
