Meek accompanied me to the salon which was very weird maybe he thinks I have my eyes on somebody in the salon
He sat on one of the couches and watched the TV as I gossipped about him
"What is your boo doing here?" My hair stylist asked
"I don't know, he said he wanted to come with me"
"How we gon' gossip about him if he here?" She asked combing my hair
"We not gossiping about him today" I said
"Girl that can't happen this is a place where we gossip about our partners" she said
"Well I can't complain about Meek, he's been behaving lately" I said
"Behaving? Men don't behave sweetie"
"He has, he actually helped me wash my hair this morning" I said
"Really?"
"Yeah, I think he is more serious about changing and becoming a better man"
"Girl you are blessed, if a man changes his behavior to keep you it means you mean a lot to him" I smiled and looked at Meek through the mirror
Betty went to the back and got hair pieces
"Where's the baby?"
"She's with her mom"
"You should bring her over one day"
"Hell nah y'all gon' scare my baby"
"Do you have a picture of her?" She asked
"Yeah"
I took out my phone and showed her pictures of Faith
"Why she so fat?"
"She's spoilt" I said
"You want knotless braids right?" She asked
"Yeah"
"You should bring over fatty so I can also braid her" she said
"She doesn't have proper hair and Meek won't allow that" I said
She laughed and started braiding my hair
We talked about random stuff as she continued braiding my hair
"I'm done" she said
"Thank you Betty"
I took out the money and paid her
I walked over to Meek and he smiled when he saw me
"I'm done" I said
He stood up and just stared at me while smiling
"What?" I asked

We walked out of the salon and he kept staring at me
"What is it?" I asked
"Damn my baby looking scrumptious" he said as he kissed my cheek
"Really?"
"Yeah hold on a minute, lemme take you a picture" he said
He took out his phone and took me a picture
"Now do that hair flipping pose" he said and I did as told
"Do that boss bitch pose" he said
