"Hurry up I don't wanna be late" Nicki said rushing me
"Girl chill, I'm almost done" I said putting on my shoes
"Imma wait for you downstairs" she ran outta the room
She's going back to work today and she wants to be extra early I put on some Cologne and went downstairs she was talking to my mom and they hugged
"Have a good day dear" my mom said
"Thank you ma" they hugged one last time and I followed Nicki to the garage
She got into my car and fastened her seatbelt I also got in
"Do you really have to be this early?" I asked her again
"Yes" she nodded and fixed her hair
"Ard" I nodded and put the key in the ignition
I got outta the garage
"Put on your safety belt" Nicki said
I looked at her and did as told we got outta the drive way and into the streets we got stuck in traffic
"Should I bring you lunch?" I asked her
"No thank you" she said
"You real happy to go back to work" I said
"I am"
"I'm gonna get bored without you" I said
"Well you could spend time with the moms" she said
'Nah I'll just wait for you to return from work I ain't gon' chill with old ladies" I said
"I'll make sure I knock off early today" she said
I arrived at her workplace we sat in the car for a few minutes
"If you don't feel well just call me and I'll come pick you up" I said
"I will"
"I love you babygirl" I said
"I love you too baby boy" she said with a smile
We kissed and pulled away she got out of the car and waved at me I waved back and watched her as she disappeared into the big building
"Man I miss her already" I kissed my teeth and drove around town
I went into some café and bought muffins for the moms I went back home and they were gossiping as always
"I bought muffins for y'all" I said putting the box of muffins on the table
"Oh thank you son" Nicki's mom said opening it
"You wanna join us for breakfast?" My mom asked
"Nah I'm cool"
I went upstairs and went back to sleep what else can a nigga do without Nicki by my side I woke up an hour before Nicki's lunch break I'm definitely gon' buy something for her cute self I took a quick shower and told our moms that I was going to see Nicki I might as well take her out for lunch I drove to her work place I went to the lift and pressed 4 which was the floor of her office when the doors opened I was welcomed by balloons there was a big banner that said "welcome back Nicki"
Damn they really do love her I went to her office and she wasn't there I asked one of the ladies here
"She's in a meeting with her team" she replied
"Oh so I see y'all had a party" I said looking around
"Well we love her and we want her to know that we appreciate her unlike someone" she said eyeing me in this disgusted look
