Chapter 6: Are You Serious

Layla's POV

"What!? Are you taking her side?!", I asked Jack so loudly after she pulled my hand for us to talk.

"That's not it, Layla! But what you did a while ago was not good! You don't have to slap her in the face."

"What's wrong with that?! I just did that because she was insulting Molly!"

"But you don't have the right to hurt her. Are those things the effects of giving you that doll?"

"What do you mean?"

"Molly is just a doll. You don't have to hurt others just for that.", Jack told me. This is the very first this happened, Jack's and my conflicts. Mrs. Panganiban came.

"What's going on here?", she asked.

"Ma'am, Layla slapped me just because I told her that her doll is haunted!", Justin Nicole replied. I just ignored her.

"Then, why do you have to insult her doll?", Mrs. Panganiban asked again.

"I saw her doll laughed by itself. It laughed without batteries.", Justin Nicole explained.

"Ma'am, that's true, I saw it too on the cr.", Kyllie said.

"Stop it! We're not here to frighten each other. We're just here to relax. Okay?"

"Yes!", we all replied.

--- 6:30 pm ---

I'm eating at the canteen. I'm the only one here and I don't know where Jack is. I wanna talk to him and I wanna apologize to Justin Nicole for what happened a while ago.

"Layla!", someone called my name from behind. I turned around but I saw no one. I decided just to ignore it. Suddenly, my bag moved. I'm shocked. It looks like something moved inside my bag.

I looked at it carefully. I opened the zippers but I saw nothing that can move by itself. I took Molly out from my bag. I went to the cr and I fixed her hair.

"You look beautiful, Molly.", I told her. I have to pee so I decided to go in one of the cubicles. I left Molly outside.

After I pee, I went out of the cubicle and shocked when I saw Molly's head. It is towards the direction of the cubicle I've been. I left her with her head towards the ceiling.

I remembered everything. The first time I heard her laugh, her eyes blinked and moved, her head she walked and I saw it at my window. Should I believe them? I got the doll and I went out of the comfort room. I decided. I throwed it to the trashcan before I regret it.

Connor's POV

I'm with Jack. Jack is my friend and it's been a long time. I went to the province and I stayed there for three months.

"Jack, if you don't mind, can I go to the library alone?"

"Why?"

"I just wanna read a book there about Math.", Jack agreed and I went there. I showed my library card to the librarian and she let me sit on one of the chairs. I got the Math Book and I started reading. I solved complex Math problems that can enhance my skills.

Suddenly, while I'm reading, I heard someone laugjed from behind. It continues laughing. I carefully turned around to see who it is. I am shocked when I saw Layla's doll. How did this doll get here? I got the doll and went out of the library. From third floor, I throwed it to the ground. That doll is really haunted. I went back.

"What?", I asked myself when I saw that doll im the library again. I can't take this anymore. I got it again.

"What do you want?! Why don't you stop!", I shouted at it and I punched it and kicked it. After that, I ran to the quadrangle. While I'm going downstairs, I feel like something is present behind me. I turned around and I saw that cursed doll. What the heck! I'ts following me. I ran and I saw it ran after me till I reached the ground.

"Connor! What's going on?", Jaiden Rock asked.

"I saw Layla's doll in the library and I throwed it here and when I came back, I saw it again in the library then it ran after me."

"What? I already throwed it to the trashcan.", Layla said.

"You throwed it?", Kyllie Mae asked.

"I know what I saw guys!"

"I believe you, Connor.", Layla said. I can't believe it. She probably is having these feelings.

"Are you serious, Layla?", Chloe asked.

"Yeah! Let me show you my bag!", Layla said and she got my bag and she opened it. We are all shocked. The doll is in there.

"How did you get here?!", Layla asked the doll and she throwed it away from her.

"The doll is cursed!", Jaydee shouted. I can'say anything to what I'm seeing.

"You're right, Jaydee.", Mary Jane said.

"Yeah!", Asher said.

"We told you that the doll is not ordinary.", Justin Nicole said.
