The Cursed Doll

Chapter 7: Most Probably

Jaiden Rock's POV

My classmates decided to eat with each other just not to focus their minds on that doll. I am left here for the reason that I want to. I wanna investigate the doll.

I got Layla's bag and looked for the doll there. I think I already ransacked the whole bag but I can't find the doll.

"Are you looking for me?", someone talked from behind. I turned around and shocked when I saw a man. A young man I think. He's not touching the floor and he is holding Layla's doll.

"Who are you? What do you want?", I asked consecutively.

"All of you are involved.", he said. Suddenly, he went gone. The doll fell on the floor. I came near the doll and I examined it. Suddenly, she laughed. I know that it has no batteries. So this is the real mystery of the cursed doll. I didn't know that the whole time, my phone is recording. It recorded all of my dialogue and the doll's laugh. I heard it.

Asher's POV

"Asher, are you sure that you are going to be alright here?", Layla asked as they are going to leave me here. I'm alright. I have things to take care here so I decided to be left behind.

I went to the boys cr. I washed my face so hard because I wanna be clean. When I looked at the mirror, I saw the doll standing behind me. I turned around and I saw it.

"What the hell are you?!", I shouted at it as if it can talk. It didn't reply but it gave me a laugh. It laugh mysteriously. I kicked it so hard and I ran away from that doll.

"Layla! The doll is moving by itself.", I said when I reached them.

"What do you mean? You, too, saw the doll?"

"Yeah! I saw it laughed.", I replied. They told me that Jaiden Rock also find it laughed. Suddenly, our adviser arrived.

"What's going on here?", ma'am asked.

"Ma'am, you've got to believe us. My doll is cursed!", Layla shouted. She really believes us now. Despite of my fear, I'm happy that she believes me.

"You have to throw it to the trashcan.", ma'am replied.

"I already did it but it keeps on coming back. What are we going to do?!"

"I'll summon Mr. Pascual here.", she's referring to our principal.

"What can he do regarding this matter?", Mary Jane asked.

"He can give us advices."

"What kind of advice? He's a principal! Not a ghost expert or something.", Jack said.

"He can see ghosts and know something about it.", ma'am explained.

"Are you saying that this is a work of a ghost?", Jaydee asked.

"Most probably. Especially what Jaiden saw a while ago. It's a ghost of a man who got killed.", Chloe explained.

"Ok. I'll contact Mr. Pascual.", ma'am already contacted Mr. Pascual and according to her, sir will come.

Layla's POV

We are waiting for further news about Sir Pascual's arrival. He's not here in the school, taking care of other things. We are here in the quadrangle except Mary Jane. She just went to the comfort room.

Later on, Mary Jane arrived. She's running. She told us that she saw the doll there and it laughed by itself. I'm just thinking, all of them are saying that the doll laughed. What's with her laughters? I don't get it anymore.
