Chapter 11: Hide and Seek

Layla's POV

"Justin Nicole!", we all shouted. We managed to open the door but when we opened it, we saw Justin Nicole's dead body. She was killed and of course, by the doll. I saw the doll lying beside her dead body.

                           

"I regret that I requested you to Chloe, I should've not forced her to buy you!", I shouted while bagging it on the floor.

"Layla! Calm down!", Chloe and Jack shouted ehile holding my hands to stop me.

"How am I going to calm down?! Tell me! The doll kills everyone of us!", I shouted at them.

"We still can find a way!", Asher said.

"How many is going to be killed before we look for a way?!", I asked them loudly.

"We have to help each other!", Jaiden Rock said.

"What way can you suggest?!", I shouted again.

"Stop it! Layla! Do you think we can find a way if you're just doing that! We have to act now against that doll!", Mary Jane shouted at me.

"Kyllie's first. Then Justin Nicole.", I said. Wait. It's like there is a pattern.

"Let's go to our place where our bags placed.", I said. We went out of the library and we went to our room. I got my notebook from my bag.

"What are you doing?", Jack asked.

"I'm sure there is a pattern.", I replied.

"What pattern are you talking about?", he asked again but I didn't reply. I went busy reading what I noted here in my notebook.

"I am right. There is a pattern.", I said.

"What...what's the pattern?", he asked again.

"The doll is killing the people who heard her laugh in order. First is Kyllie Mae. Then Justin Nicole."

"Who's next?", Jack asked again. I looked at him.

"Connor's next.", I replied.

"What?"

"Jack, tell me. Have you heard her laugh?"

"Y-yes. I heard her laugh after Mr. Pascual told us about his experience in the doll."

"What? We have to find a way as soon as possible.", I said. Suddenly, my classmates went near me.

"What have you learned?!", they all asked. I explained everything to them. They also knew that Connor's next.
