Chapter 15: I'm Sorry

Asher's POV

I heard the doll's knocks on the other room. I'm here alone in this room hiding from the doll. I'm scared and I admit it. I heard demonic laughters behind me. I turned around and I saw a man. I fell down because of fear.

"Who are you?! What do you want from me?!", I asked loudly. He's coming near me. I am forced to go out of my room. I went upstairs and I went to Physics Laboratory. I locked the door. The room is wide. I went to one of the tables, looking for the things I can use against the doll, just in case. I heard those demonic laughters again. I turned around and I saw the doll.

"What the hell do you want from me?!", I shouted but she just walked near me.

"Get the hell away from me!", I commanded. She took out her knife. I ran to the door. Unfortunately, I couldn't open it.

"Help! Open the door! Jack! Layla!", but no one heard me shouting. I couldn't open the door and the doll was coming near me.

"Help! Please!", I saw the chair beside me. I throwed it to the doll but she dodged it.

"Please don't kill me.", I begged the doll to stop killing and don't kill me.

"You have to die!", she shouted and she jumped over me to stab me. Fortunately, I dodged her. I went to the table with many chairs. I throwed the chairs one by one to the doll. But she seems not hurt.

"Get away from me! Get away from us!", I throwed the last chair to her but she dodged it again. She laughed demonic. I went to the window.

"Come, get me.", I commanded. She ran and jumped towards me but I dodged her. But she managed to touch one of the metals on the window so she didn't fell. She jumped towards me again and stabbed me on my tummy many times. Of course, I died.

Layla's POV

Jack decided to open the door. The doll is not here any longer and we're lucky for that. Jack and I saw a paper on the floor outside the room. Something is written on it.

JAMES PASCUAL

 

"Jack, what is Sir Pascual's first name?", I asked Jack. I'm confused. Who is James Pascual?

"It's Gary. Our principal is Gary Pascual.", Jack replied.

"Who's James Pascual?", I asked.

"We both don't know.", he just replied. I got my phone and used my load to connect to internet. I searched for the name James Pascual but we didn't find any clues that can help us. I think it is related to the doll.

"Jack. Can you come with me?"

"Of course. Where are we going?"

"To the library.", Jack and I went to upstairs we went to the library. I'll try to investigate. We went in the library but we are shocked by what we saw. Lights turning on and off. Blood. We also saw the librarian's dead body. She, too, was killed by the doll.

"What happened here?", I asked. He didn't reply. He's focusing on the wall that made me look at it.

ANGELA WARREN

 

We saw another name here. James Pascual and Angela Warren. Who are these people? I am confused. Suddenly, someone contacted me.

Chloe

Calling...

 

I answered the call.

"Hello."

"Layla. Where are you?"

"I'm here with Jack in the library."

"I'll go there with you.", later on, Chloe came. She also saw the library and the name Angela Warrej written on the wall. Many things are bothering me, not only me but us.

"Let's search for old newspapers here.", I told them. We looked for newspapers. We saw some but none of the newspapers answeref our questions. Suddenly, we saw Molly lying on the floor. We are shocked. I carried it.

"Layla. Leave it there.", Chloe said but I ignored her.

"Layla! Leave it there! Let's go!", Jack shouted. I let go of the doll and we went out of the library.

"We still don't have any clues.", I said.

"The doll is in there. She would kill us.", Chloe said.

"No. The doll is killing in order.", I said again.

"Is it alright for the next one to die? We have to save whoever he is.", Jack replied.

"I'm sorry. Let's go back.", I requested. We went downstairs to go back to the quadrangle. I'm sure my classmates are in there.
