The World is far from Perfect

Rin, slightly influenced by Ushiwakamaru's mind lightly tosses a pebble at Ren, snaps him out and says "Do not lower your guard against an opponent. Only a fool would do so in single combat! You may be facing a hero of old, but you forget that you yourself are a hero as well. Unless you aren't. If so, die, after you've made the path easier for me."

Ren shakes his head before firing up his resolve once more,saying "You're right, you may wield the general's abilities, but I too am a hero!" He then lets out a war cry and charges at Rin as she does the same. Rin then let's the servant instincts take hold as she starts going on the offensive once more.

Despite being a powerful Heroic Spirit, the very fact she is being used as an install card, as well as the fact that the world is currently restricting her to the levelling system, she is currently at a physical strength much lower than Ren's but is still dominating the battle through sheer speed and technique.

Ren then fires off a [Crimson Blade] to put some distance between them, then swings his sword, saying "Airstrike Sword!" letting loose a barrage of swords, only for Rin to say "Shana Oh Ryuuritan: Kikenji, Icicle Cutting!"

She then slashes through the swords and eventually gets close to Ren. She then smirks as Ren grits his teeth and slashes only for her to twist her body and land behind him. Ren then grunts before both started wailing on each other once more.

Each time he fired off a skill, she would either parry the sword away before it shot out, dodge, or against the stronger abilities, used Kikenji to either reflect or slice them. The furious clanging of steel resounds in the battlefield as neither fighter refuses to back down. One had the power and damage, the other the technique and speed. Both combatants seemed to be at a stalemate. But both know very well who has the real upperhand.

Ren then pants and takes a gamble by saying "Let's... end this... With one strike!" to which Rin smiles and says "Very well. I shall answer your resolve with my own."

Both then took stances as azure energy erupts out of Ren's legendary sword and a golden one out of Rinturia. Both then raise their swords, as they chant "Heed me o legendary cardinal sword/Shana O Ryuuritan."

Rin then proceeds to dash towards Ren with her flame lit ablaze with a golden flame.

Ren then does a horizontal slash and releases an energy beam which Rin then counters with a single diagonal upward slash.

"METEOR BLADE!/USUMIDORI!!!"

Both attacks collide at point blank range with the sound of a slash ripping through armor and flesh.

A powerful flash of light then engulfs both as both swordsmen let loose a powerful warcry.

After the light dies down, Rin and Ren are seen holding their blades out, neither one moving.

One second passes, then two, then three.

Finally, their bodies finally register what happens and a spray of blood appears from Ren's chest where a slash mark was seen, his health placed dangerously at 1/4th. Rin then sheathes her katana as she uninstalls the card and falls on her knees. She then smiles and says "Whew! That really took a lot outta me!"

Paramedics then come and take them to the infirmary where they were to heal

Itsuki and Motoyasu once more look at her in a confusion of sheer horror and awe.

Itsuki then says "Wait... Does that mean... Those two others that she summoned were..."

Naofumi, finally deciding to talk after all that then says "Yeah... Yes they are..."

Motoyasu then says "I like her even more n-"

Only for him to feel the presence of hundreds of blades just waiting to gouge out his throat. He then looks to other seats and just sees Shirou slowly shaking his head at him while slowly leaving to go to his arena place.
