Chapter 20: It's The Freakin' Weekend I'm about to have me some fun!!

Saturday August 3rd, 1991

5:30am

I got up early to prepare for the trip to Colton, California, it was definitely going to be something, this trip was going to be interesting. I called Leon, Danyelle, Evan & Rodney and let them know where i was going and where i'd be. They all told me to be safe and Evan even gave me monday off of work. I got my road map ready and i seen where i could take the 110 interstate then turn off onto the 91 and ride it until it turns into the 240 and it'll still take me straight there. I couldn't wait to see Kelvin, we have some catching up to do, these long distance relationships really are something. I showered and ate before i got on the road, i got on the road about 6:45am and i got there around 8:15am, traffic was a bit interesting, he told me that he lived at Fairway Crest Apartments. It was a huge complex when I pulled into it.

"Hey excuse me i'm looking for someone, can you help me find his apartment?" I asked this guy.

"Yo what's good, what can i do you in for, what you need?"

"Do you know where Kelvin Owens live?"

"Who's asking?"

"My name's Willie, Willie...."

"Weathers....yeah, my fault, i'm Jamal, i'm a friend of Kelvin's." He told me.

"Oooh yeah, i heard about you, you're good friends with Kelvin, whenever i see him he talks about you. You're almost like a brother to him, you know that? Well it's good to finally put a face with the name."

"Same here, anyway he lives in that apartment right there." He said pointing to Apartment 3A. "You can park your car right over there, no one will mess with it." He said. "We got some security here, it's a decent place." He told me.

"Thanks man, i appreciate it." I said.

I spotted Kelvin's vehicle and i went and parked beside his and i smiled and thought about the good times we've had so far. I went up to his door and after a few knocks he answered with that deep voice of his.

"Hey what's good 88? I didn't think you'd get here early." He said.

"Wanted to surprise you."

"Well that's cool, welp this is my place, make yourself comfortable."

It looked nice, clean, he had Cassette Tapes and VHS movies stacked on his shelf. He had the radio bumping, they was playing "Check the Technique" By Gang Starr.

"Damn it looks nice in here." I said.

"Well how else is it suppose to look 88?"

"I don't know, you tell me." I laughed. "So you eat breakfast yet?" I asked.

"No, i was going to make some though, you want some?"

"No, I was gonna treat you." I told him.

"Alright well give me some time to get ready." He said.

It took him 15 minutes to get ready and then around 8:35am or so we got to a restaurant that was around the corner and we got out and went in and ate some breakfast. We talked and laughed and caught up on some things and we talked about how school was getting ready to start back up soon. We was both going to be on the football team again and he joked about how he was going to kick my ass. After that we went out to Fleming Park and he showed me around his neighborhood.

"So what are we going to do once the school year starts?" He asked. "We can't go on like this you know."

"What do you mean when you say we can't go on like this?"

"I mean this long distance relationship thing."

"Things are changing, i know that Kelvin but you got to work with me here, i know things will slow down once school starts, but hey, this is our last year of school, after that both of us will be college bound, i know it." I told him.

"Yeah i guess so but i don't want things between us to slow down, i'm really digging you, i'm enjoying my time with you." He said in his deep sultry voice. "I wish it was a way one of us could move." He said.

"Yeah but we both have so much going on you know, we haver people that are in our lives. I mean Leon and Danyelle is there, same with Evan, i mean my job is down there baby."

"Yeah i know, but i got people down here and a job too, i just wish things weren't as complicated you know...."

"Life is full of complications but we have to power through it and be strong. I know my guy is strong." I said, as i kissed him. We continued talking a bit more until i dropped him off at his place.

"You want to come in?"

"Yeah."

I walked in and as soon as he closed his door i went over to him and gave im the most passionate kiss i could, our lips touching, our tounges intertwining, i could feel myself getting hard and i could feel Kelvin getting hard. Kelvin picked me up and took me over to his couch and he took my shirt off. He took his off, he slid my pants and boxers down and he opened his jeans and took his manhood out. Hours later we woke up and i looked at his clock, it was 6:30pm, i had to get back home.

"Kelvin, kelvin i got to go." I told him as i got up and got my clothes.

"Come on back to bed 88." He mumbled, as he held his arm out to me.

"Kelvin i got to go, i got to get back home." I told him.

"Please...Well i guess if you got to get home you got to get home." He said. "Call me as soon as you get home though."

"I will, most definitely." I told him.

I got my clothes and got dressed, he sat up on his couch, sheets covered on him and looked at me, i bent down and kissed him on the lips.

"I promise i'll call you as soon as i get home." I said turned around and left.
