Leon

It's been a week since Chris got into it with Darren Wilkins and there was nothing on my mind except for REVENGE!! Darren keeps pushing my buttons. He's going to see a side of me that nobody wants to see. I don't know what to do, I promise Chris that I wouldn't do that, that I will not be that person but people want to see you at your absolute worst. It's almost like Darren is obsessed with Chris and that's not going to fly with me. You mess with what's mine and I'll come after you. I got on the phone and made a few calls. I made one to Rel and I made one to Junior. I told them what I wanted to do. I'm not going to hurt Darren but I want to intimidate him. I want him to know that you don't come after the people I care about without repercussions. I told them his usual hangout spot, Over on Creed Avenue at Chey Apartments over in Leimert Park. I know some of his boys hang around there too but I am looking to send a message and that's what I'm going to do. They showed up about 20 minutes later, and Rel had a pissed look on his face. I also saw that they had somebody else with them and it was Luther. I can't believe they brought him.

"So whose grand idea was it to bring Officer Walker you snitching ass bitches?"

"Hey man relax, don't talk to your friends like that for real, they're only looking out for what's best for you both of them. I know that Darren is a problem and he has to be handled but you have to go about it the right way. something that doesn't tie you back to him. Now we know who he hangs out with and what he does in his spare time and the way he's going after Chris we have to do something now before this gets extremely extremely out of hand." Officer Walker said.

"Oh you can't do anything man, no offense but you're a cop and you have to do things by the book." I told him.

"That's the thing you just said it man, I am a cop."

"So what are you saying exactly?"

"What I'm saying is that sometimes somebody has to bend the rules in order for Justice to be served." He said, looking at me, Rel & Junior. "Look man you & Junior are on probation, now Rel on the other hand isn't." He came over to me and pulled me to the side while Rel and Junior talked. Look Leon, I know that me and you don't see eye to eye on things but hey man at the end of the day no matter what our differences are Leon I do not want to see you in trouble and I don't want to see Chris hurt." He said.

"Well how do I know if I can trust you?"

"Well if you can't trust me then who can you trust?"

Something about this whole thing seemed off, I wish they didn't call him but at the same time maybe this can work to our advantage.

"Alright, what are you suggesting?"

"It's nothing illegal, don't worry about that we're just going to go over there and intimidate him a little bit, maybe rough them up a little bit but we're not going to do anything illegal we're just going to let him know do not mess with Chris."

"Alright well let's go ahead and go then."

"Don't worry Leon, like i said Rel and Junior, they're just looking out for you, and plus i already talked to a few officers, we're going to be increasing patrols in the area as well as over in his area, we've been getting tips the past few months about their activities over there anyway, selling weed & other illegal substances and all, so if we give them enough time they'll slip up and set themselves up." He said. "Now let's go."

Something about Luther just seemed a bit off, it seems like it was more to it than what he was saying, I just have a bad feeling about him. I think Rel and Junior could sense it too because they looked at me, but we all decided to go. We drove down from my place on Somerset Drive down to Creed Avenue which was a five minute drive. We left at 4:40pm and got there at 4:50, due to traffic, but as soon as we got there and we got out of the car we could see Darren, hanging with some thugs. I walked over to him.

"You on the wrong turf ain't you?" Darren said laughing.

"I don't think I'm someone you want to play with." I told him.

"Oh you don't?" He laughed and scoffed. "Look man you don't know who you're messing with..."

"No Darren you don't know who you messing with man, let me tell you if you don't back off of Chris then you're gonna find out real quick who you fuckin' with, you get me?" Officer Walker said, as he walked up over to us. "Trust me, my threats aren't idle, when i'm done with you you're gonna wish that you had just let all of this go, I don't care who you have with you, or beside you." He said, looking over at his boys. "Stay away from Chris." He said, very stern.

"Is that a threat, Officer?" Darren said.

"Man, look just stay away from okay." I told Darren. "Come on y'all, let's go." I said.

"Yeah walk away, you nothing but a straight up bitch you faggot!" He chimed in.

I stopped walking and turned back around. I walked back towards Darren, this could go down one of two ways, i could punch him and then all hell would break loose and i'd end up back in Juvie, or with the record i have i could end up in Jail, or I could handle this another way, and that's by killing him softly with words. Before I could say anything though Darren came over and punched me in the face.

"Aww shit nigga, you bitch!" I said.

Luther tackled him to the ground as Darren tried to swing on me again.

"Get off me cop!" He said, trying to hit Luther.

"Yo let's bounce!" One of the guys said.

As Luther was trying to gain control of the situation I saw him pull something out of Darren's pockets.

"What's this here?" He said as he had a baggie of weed and cocaine in his hand.

"What! Where did that come from?" One of the guys with Darren said.

"Man, we don't know anything about that." Another guy said. "We're out of here!"

"Y'all not going anywhere, I've already called officers on the scene as i was pulling up, they should be here any minute." He said.

We heard sirens in the distance as we were talking before the fight broke out but I could hear them getting closer and closer.

"Man, you're setting us up!" Darren said.

"You have no proof of that." He said. "As I recall we all came here to talk to you about not harassing his friend here and you were hanging with your homeboys here, you got belligerent and punched Leon and as we were tussling these drugs fell out of your pocket." He said.

Man, I have a bad feeling about all of this.
