Athena Elle's POV

"We're here!" Sigaw ko sa buong sala nang makapasok kami. Dala-dala pa din namin ang mga inumin namin mula kanina.

"Oh, hi Ands!" Silip ng kuya ko mula sa kusina.

"Hi kuya Ash, I missed you." Sabi ni Ands at niyakap ang kuya ko nang makataring kami sa kusina.

"Why are you still here? It's been hours." Puna ko rito.

Umupo ito sa mga upuan na nasa tapat ng island counter na ginawa din namin. "Well, I just wanted to hangout here while waiting for you. Ace is actually here kanina, kaso umalis dahil parang may ibinalitang bad news iyong kasambahay nila Rhian."

Kuya Ace once told me that he became close with ate Rhian's maid so she's reporting everything that kuya needed to know every now and then. May gusto daw yata iyong maid sa kaniya.

"I see that you really came to my shop." He said, looking at my cup of iced Americano and drank from it.

"Yeah, I'm glad si ate Joyce iyong nakatoka sa cashier ngayon. She actually gave me a discount." It's half truth. I really saw ate Joyce at the cash register but she didn't saw me because she's too busy. Then, Ands insisted in ordering our foods and drinks kahit na balak ko talagang manghingi ng discount. I just wanna tease my brother and see how he reacts.

"What? How much?" Gulat na tanong nito. I restrained myself from laughing and answered.

"Seventy-five percent."

"What the-?! Hindi nga umaabot ng fifty percent ang kinikita ko sa bawat binibili niyo tapos Joyce will give you a less seventy-five percent discount? I gotta call Bart right now." He asked, still can't believe what he just knew. Umalis ito sa harapan namin na mukhang tototohanin ang kaniyang sinabi.

Paakyat na ito ng hagdan nang sumigaw ako. "Kuya, I'm just kidding!"

"Whatever! I'm still gettin' ma phone!" Sigaw niya pabalik.

Nagkatinginan lamang kami ni Ands at sabay na natawa. "Let's go, ipapaakyat ko na lang mamaya ang gamit mo. I'm sure my twin is mad at me right now for not telling him-"

Pagbukas ko ng pinto ay tumambad sa amin ang nakabusangot na mukha ng kapatid ko. Ilang sandali pa ay walang pasabi nitong niyakap ang kaibigan ko. "Bakit hindi mo ako sinama?" Mukha itong bata na nagtatampo sa kaniyang ina na hindi siya sinama sa kung saan man siya nagpunta. He is still embracing Ands.

"Wae? It's our day today. Bukas kayong dalawa." Pilit ko silang pinaghiwalay at nang magawa iyon ay ipinasok ko si Ands sa kwarto ko at agarang isinarado ang pinto.

"Hey! Athena!" He shouted outside.

"I'm sorry, kuya. But I promise we won't interfere with you tommorow so please do the same with us today."

"Ugh, fine!" I heard footsteps and the opening and closing sound of his door.

I turned my gaze to Ands. "Your boyfriend is so hard-headed." She just laughed and sat on my bed.

"You should wash up first. Ipapadala ko na lang ang damit mo dito. Then, after that we will eat lunch. The towel are still on that drawer on the right side." Ands is been coming here ever since we became friends so I'm sure she knows what I meant by that.

"Oh, by the way," nakasilip ito sa pintuan ng banyo. "Si kuya Ace ba ang nagluto?" She asked so excitedly. Tumango naman ako. She went back with a smile.

She's became quite excited today huh?

Ipinaakyat ko ang mga gamit niya at nagsimula na ring maghalungkat sa closet ko ng isusuot.
