Hey friends. This is it. Enjoy.
Two months later... (August 6th)
Stacy's POV
"Mom! Come on!" "Alright, I'm coming."
Today, I've decided to join Gracy in her horse riding lessons because.. I wanted to learn how to ride my own horse who is all healthy now, Miracle. However, I'm not gonna be doing the crazy jumping that Gracy does. I'm just gonna ride with a western saddle and learn the basics.
So as Graser watched us, Gracy was doing her own thing with Johnny, and I was riding a 'red roan' quarter horse named Strawberry. He was very cute though.
I learned to walk, trot, canter, and even gallop. Plus, for trail riding purposes, I learned to go up hills, down hills, and jump small things like a fallen tree or a fallen cactus for say. And while I did that, Gracy got to excel at her already pretty good jumping abilities.
But at home, I figured I should spend more money, and bought myself a whole western saddle set. It included a saddle, saddle pad, breastplate, girth, a bridle with a fancy bit that was shaped like a heart, and some splint boots and skid boots. I didn't really need the skid boots as of that moment, but I had future plans and if they become a thing, I will definitely need that whole set.
I kinda wanna do reining with horses.
Reining is sometimes referred to as 'western dressage' because that's basically what it is. You do fancy tricks with your horse such as
the sliding stop. Pretty self-explanatory.
The spin. Where your horse spins in a circle as fast and smooth as possible.
The back up. Where your horse backs up as fast and as straight as possible.
The circle. Where you gallop in a perfect circle.
And the flying lead change. Perfectly change the lead of both your horses back and front legs at the same time, in mid air.
I don't know why I became so interested in that sport, but ever since I read about it while doing research on horses in that library, I've always wanted to try it at least once.
So when my saddle set came, I took it to the farm where we were boarding Miracle of course, and I saddled him up and took him for a ride for the first time. I rode him around one of the outdoor arenas, and he was pretty good. Dana had ridden him for me first to tell me how he was, and she said he was fine, and she was correct.
But whenever I decided to ride, it was slightly annoying, having to drive twenty minutes to do so. Plus, we had annoying situations such as..
"Put the groceries in the back, Graser." "Okie dokie. ... Um, Stacy?" "What?" "How can I put the groceries back here when there's a saddle back here?" "... Oh."
So yeah, hauling around my saddle wasn't very nice either. So one night, I finally decided to ask Graser a question.
"Hey Graser?" "Yeah?" "... What if.. we built a fence, and had my horse here? Then we won't be paying board, and it's more convenient for whenever I wanna ride." "... I guess. What about Johnny?" "He'd stay at the farm cause Gracy still takes lessons. I don't." "Ok. Sounds good. But that means we actually have to buy hay and food and take care of Miracle." "I know. I'd be happy to."
So, a few days later, Graser and I got to work, and successfully built a decent sized pasture/arena. And I had my own horse at home with me.
However, a year later, I was up late at night, doing what should be illegal.

Hayran KurguBasically this is a new version of my old #Gracy FF. I'm gonna aim for at least 2500 words per chapter as well! I only aimed for 1000 in my last book so I figured we should take it up a notch. This book will be updated once a week as well. I used to...
