I wake up suddenly, my mouth is dry and my throat hurts. I'm starving and all I can think about is the sandwich I had for dinner the other day and I left half of it. I'm still in this unit, it's not as cold as it was before. I try to shuffle my body to lie on the ground when I feel something on top of me. My hands are still behind my back, but it feels soft, is this a blanket? These men drugged me, locked me in a storage unit, hurt me and then have the audacity to give me a blanket? I lie down on my left side; the right side of my head still hurts. I try to bring the blanket further up to cover my shoulders, but I can't. My legs feel warm and I'm still quite tired. I'll just rest my eyes for a moment.
