Chapter 12
???’s POV
Was that Mira at the restaurant singing? OH GOD IT IS HER. I feel so stupid not to recognise her. I thought in my mind. I laughed at myself. I was having dinner with my friends. It was the first time. Well let’s say that she and I go a long way back. She was my classmate back then. And little did she know that I had a crush on her. And I still had. It was for 6 years. 6 LONG YEARS. She was beautiful and smart and pretty and cute.. I did not think that she could sing. It was a shocking experience. I laughed again. At that moment, they kissed. My heart sank, but I was still smiling outside. That sight was bringing down my confidence. Luckily, no one knew my friends and I. We are popular in Korean as we were a K-pop band called ‘SHInee’. We sat there watching. Finally, they went back to their seats. My friends and I finished eating thirty minutes later. We walked to the main door. “MinHo?! Is that you?! OH MY GOD IT’S YOU!” I heard Mira exclaimed. I turned around and saw her. Standing beautifully in that dress. “Mira! You sang great by the way!” I winked at her while replying. “How could you not stay in touch with me all these years?! Thought we were best friends! Come here and give me a hug!” Mira said excitedly. I went there and gave her a hug. “I apologise m’lady. As you can see, I’m in a band! Have you not been stalking me? I’m shocked!” I said dramatically. “Ehem!” The black haired guy interrupted. “Oh, MinHo this is my boyfriend Zayn, and Zayn, this is my best friend in the whole wide world, Minho. We went to the same school. When I was a kid, I travel a lot and one of the places was Korea. My parents decided that we should stay there for a year or two but we ended up staying there for 6 years. This guy here, has been teaching me Korean and he was my tour guide too! I’m lucky to have him by my side. I told you right, Zayn?” Mira finished talking. I was glad as she had mentioned me. I smirked. “Yeah, you did,” Zayn replied unwillingly. “Mira, I have to go now. Talk to you soon yeah? Here’s my number!” I said excitedly.
Mira’s POV
“Bye MinHo! Nice to meet you!” I said happily. He left the restaurant and went away. I missed him. Yeah, he was my first crush but I had Zayn now. I smiled. I looked at Zayn and he gave me a forceful smile. “Why are you sad Zayn?” I asked, wanting to know why. “Who was he? You didn’t even mentioned him,” Zayn said with jealousy in his voice. “ Awww, is Zaynie jealous! You so cute when you do that! And I told you about him.. Guess you fell asleep,” I replied. My phone vibrated.
MinHo : Hey Mira! We have a lot of catching up to do! Let’s go out tomorrow?
Mira : Sure! But where?
MinHo : It’s a surprise! (;
Mira : Araeso Oppa! (A/N : Araeso means okay and Oppa is when you call someone older than you or a brother)
I smiled to myself. “Zayn, I have somewhere to go tomorrow. So, let me go please?” I gave him the puppy eyes. “Well, I can’t fight the puppy eyes. Go have fun love!” He said smiling. ”I love you!” I said to him. “To the stars and back!” He said in a mocking tone. We headed home with a smile on our faces. I can’t wait for tomorrow as I would spend my day with my best friend. “Zayn? You know, I went to Korea with my biological father and my twin brother. It was a memorable 6 years, and he was there for me. I hope you understand yeah?” I said, looking down. “Of course I understand love,” He said while winking. I could go to bed happily now!
