Chapter 10

Mira's POV

I remembered the day when my biological father fetched me home from school with my brother. “Hi dad! Let’s go home and eat! What did mum cook today?” I asked excitedly. “Haha, Mira, you have to chill, you will know when you get there!” My dad replied while laughing. My brother, Jake, was just as excited as I am. We were twins. We did everything together back then, when my dad was around. We were chatting crazily in the taxi, laughing like little kids. I really missed them. My life has ups and downs, some I can’t even imagine and how to put it in words. I was so caught up in the past, I can’t really move on. That’s what I hate about myself. Too caught up in the past. I had been thinking ever since I was getting back from shopping. “I’m going to sleep. Really tired,” I said while rubbing my eyes. Before they could respond, I disappeared to Zayn’s room. I just lay myself on his bed.

Harry’s POV

“She went to sleep fast,” I said while smirking. “She’s probably tired. Let it go,” Zayn said while laughing. “You don’t say Captain Obvious,” Louis said. We decided to watch movies. “I DECLARE LOVE ACTUALLY!” I screamed. “NO DISNEY MOVIES! TOY STORY!” Liam shouted in refusal. “Guys! Shh! You might wake Mira up!” Zayn finally spoke up. We decided to watch ‘Tales of Deasperaux’.

*1h 30 mins later*

“AHH! LEAVE ZAYN ALONE! LEAVE LIAM ALONE! LEAVE ALL OF THEM! TAKE ME! NOT THEM!” We heard someone screamed. It could only mean one person. Mira. “Mira,” We all said at the same time.

Mira’s POV

I was in a dark room, with a switch at the end. I walked and tried to reach it. I did reached it but something was in the way. A drawer. I opened and found that it was filled with files. All was about me. Where I was from, my family, my brother… My twin brother. I knew he was out there somewhere! He could not have just disappeared. “Mira, Jake here,” a familiar voice said. “Ja-a-ke? Is that y-you?” I cried out. I knew there was more secrets I haven’t tell the lads. I just can’t tell them everything.. I didn’t want to make them worry and I’ve never wanted to remember them. “Bye Mira,” Jake said. “JAKE?! DON’T LEAVE ME PLEASE!” I cried out loud. Then he vanished. Just like that. Suddenly, I turned around and I was in my old house, with my step-father. He had children too but we don’t get along. I don’t really remember my biological dad and my twin. I remembered the day he picked me up from my school. You all know what happened between Nathan and me, and how his dad hated me for breaking Nathan’s heart. Nathan stalked me in every way he could. As I turned around in that dark room, there was a light. It shined at five boys I love. Zayn, Liam, Niall, Harry and Louis. “Mira, hey Mira! Look who is here? Your boyfriend and your friends. You best friends! I told you that you are with me, and no one else!” Nathan hissed at me. I just stand there, not knowing what to do. Nathan was holding a swiss knife at Zayn’s neck and the other hand he was holding a gun, pointing it to Liam. “AHH! LEAVE ZAYN ALONE. LEAVE LIAM ALONE! LEAVE ALL OF THEM! TAKE ME! NOT THEM!” I shouted. I woke up to see Zayn opening the door and coming up to me. Followed by the rest of the boys.

Zayn’s POV

“Mira! What happened? Why are you shouting?” I asked in concern. “Oh, must be a bad dream I had,” Mira replied while wiping her sweat away. “Uhm.. Boys? There’s something I haven’t told you boys yet. I’m sorry I didn’t say it before because I wasn’t ready. Just please promise me you will not get mad,” Mira said sadly. Some of us nodded. She told us everything. About her twin brother and how she don’t remember her biological dad and her twin brother. After she told us everything, Liam was fuming mad. “Mira! You promised that you’d tell us everything!” Liam shouted while Niall was calming him down. “You promised you would not get mad!” Mira had started crying. “I knew I should not have told you. It would make things worser!” Mira continued. “Guys, go out and calm Liam. I need to talk to her. Alone,” I said to the lads and they understood. “Shh, Mira. Everything’s is gonna be okay. I’m here for you,” I hushed her and calm her down. “You’re not mad at me?” Mira said in between hiccups. “Why would I be? To be a good boyfriend, they need to understand why the girls did it right?” I assured her. “Boyfriend? You haven’t even asked me out yet!” Mira questioned me. “Well, in that case, tomorrow evening, meet me at the door at 6pm. Wear a nice dress yeah?” I repied. She nodded. “And one more thing, I love you Mira,” I continued. “To the stars and back,” Mira replied. “About that, uhmm, basically, now that I love you to the stars and back, it’s because stars are far from the earth and it is spread in the universe. That is how much I love you,” Mira said lovingly. “Zayn?” Mira continued. “Yeah?” I replied. Mira said, “I love you.” “To the stars and back,” I said winking.
