"Alright, Charles, I'm headed out," I called through the apartment.

"Drive safe, Babe, and don't forget your helmet," Charles called back from the kitchen.

I grabbed my helmet from the table by the door and headed out. Today was going to be my first day at the Jump Street Chapel Program. I had no idea what the parking situation was going to be like, so I decided I'd ride my motorcycle into work instead of my car. I've found that it's always easier to find a place to park a motorcycle than it is a car. I put on my helmet and zipped up my jacket, then mounted and started my bike. I knew where I was going since I memorized the directions to the chapel, so I just relaxed and enjoyed my ride. It was a lovely morning with not much traffic and I managed to get to  the chapel around 6:20am; I had a meeting with a Captain Fuller at 6:30am. There was a parking lot behind the chapel so I pulled into one of the first spots I saw; one close to the stairs leading to the entrance to the chapel. I parked and turn off my bike, then took off my helmet and made my way up the stairs. Once I reached the door, I took a deep breath in. This is it, I thought as I opened the door. I was greeted by a short hallway that turned right and led to a large, open room. There were desks near the walls and center of the room. In one corner, there was a small cell and towards the back wall of the building, I saw a fireman's pole. The more I looked around, the more I saw. However, I didn't see any officers.

"Hello?" I called out. I took a few timid steps forward and down a small set of stairs. I looked around the corner I was standing by and saw an open door towards the back left corner of the chapel, something I wasn't able to see previously. "Hello?" I called out again, this time louder. "I'm here to see Captain Fuller."

I heard stirring over by the door and heard footsteps coming closer. A man poked his head out of the doorway and scanned the room, finding me. "Oh! You must be Officer Ray. I'm sorry I wasn't expecting you until 6:30," he said.

"You must be Captain Fuller," I walked towards him and extended my hand and he shook it," I'm (Y/n) Ray. And I'm sorry I'm a bit early. I just figured I may as well come inside instead of wait outside for another 10 minutes."

"No, no," he laughed," don't take it the wrong way, I'm just not used to my officers coming in earlier than expected. It would be a nice change though. Why don't you come into my office and I'll explain what Jump Street is and what you'll be doing here."

"That would be lovely, thank you."

Captain Fuller turned and walked to the door he had previously exited. Inside was a desk that he made his way around, a couch, and some filing cabinets. I took a seat in the chair situated on the opposite side of the desk. I placed my helmet in my lap.

"So," he began," what do you already know about Jump Street Chapel?"

"Well, not much. I know it's an undercover program where cops that look young enough to be high schoolers go into high schools to bust troublesome kids."

"That sounds about right. We take a range of cases spanning from petty theft to homicide. I've read over your file and I think you'd be a great addition to the Jump Street program. You're very skilled in undercover work and look young enough to be a high schooler."

"Thank you," I replied.

"I think that, for today, I'll send you and one or two of our officers to the mall to give you a makeover and to tell you more about Jump Street."

"I'm sorry," I said," but did you just say makeover?"

"Yes, I did. You look like a high schooler, but you aren't wearing what kids these days wear, plus you'll need some tips for acting like a kid again."
