"Alright," Judy said," I'm ready whenever you guys are."
"I'm ready," I said.
"Me too," said Tom.
Tom, Judy, and I walked out of the chapel and down the stairs.
"I still have no idea whose motorcycle that is," Tom said motioning to my parked motorcycle. "I don't know anyone that owns a Vincent Black Shadow."
"She's mine," I said proudly.
Tom turned around faster than I thought any human was capable of and inhaled sharply with his eyes closed. "You mean to tell me that you parked in The Mustang's spot," Tom said while staring into the depths of my soul.
"U-uh, I guess so?"
"Uh oh," I heard Judy say.
"Uh oh? What do you mean uh o-"
"I have parked in that same spot since the first day on the job. That spot practically belongs to me. And to think that I trusted you," Tom said dejectedly, turning away from me.
"If it means that much to you, Tom, I don't mind changing spots with you."
Tom's face lit up. "Really?"
"Sure. I don't see why not. Besides, the spot practically belongs to you."
"Judy, I think I love this girl," Tom said.
I laughed and pulled out my keys. "Don't you think its a bit early for that, Tom," I said. I started my bike and moved her to the spot to the left of Tom's blue mustang. I pulled out my keys and moved the kickstand into place with my foot.
"Alright, kids, it's time to go," said Judy while opening the door of the mustang. I approached the passenger's door of the car and slide into the front passengers seat. Judy had already moved to the back of the mustang. Tom stepped into the driver's seat and started the car.
"Ooooh, listen to that purr," I said.
"Finally! Someone who appreciates The Mustang as much as I do," Tom said. I saw Judy roll her eyes.
"Whatever you say, Hansen. Let's go. I want to beat the rush at the mall," Judy said.
...
"Wow, I feel like a kid again." I stood in front of a full length mirror in a clothing store at the mall. I was wearing high-waisted, acid washed jeans, white vans, and a neon pink sweatshirt. I had on chunky hoop earrings and a neon pink scrunchie.
"That's how you'll feel the whole time you work at Jump Street," Judy said. "I think with this last outfit, you should have enough clothes for a few weeks."
"A few weeks?! All of those clothes are for just a few weeks!? You girls bought a whole closet worth of clothes! And worst of all, I have to carry all of your bags," Tom whined. I laughed and his childishness.
"It is a lot of clothes, Judy," I agreed. We had stopped at every teen clothing store in the mall and bought clothes from almost every one. I now owned mini skirts, sweatshirts, crop tops, tons of jeans, 3 new pairs of shoes, a jean jacket, a leather jacket, flannel shirts, graphic-tees, chunky jewelry and belts. "Can we stop a a home supply store? I'd like to get some things for my desk."
"Sure," said Judy.
"As long as we don't go into another clothing store, I don't care where we go," Tom grumbled.
"Cheer up, Hansen. I'll buy you a chocolate bar later," I promised.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Tom shot up out of his seat and practically sprinted out of the store. Judy and I couldn't contain out laughter.
