Tom, Doug, and I walked into the boys bathroom. I looked around and immediately saw Micheal and David standing by the far wall.
"I've gotta say," David said,"I didn't expect for you to come in here, Sweetheart." I tried not to shudder under his vulgar stare.
"Well, what can I say? I guess I'm just a little eager," I said in a flirtatious tone. It was disgusting and I didn't want to do it. I felt like I was betraying Charles, but getting closer David by flirting might make the bust easier.
"We've got about 10 grams here, $50 per gram," Micheal said, holding out a few plastic bags filled with cocaine.
"We want all of it," Doug said greedily. Tom reached into his jacket and pulled out $500. David took the cash and counted it. Satisfied with the amount, he nodded to Micheal. Micheal gave Doug the bags.
"When can we get more?" I asked.
"You really are eager, Sweetheart. It depends on how much you want."
"How about half a kilo," I said. Both brothers looked shocked, but quickly regained their composure. "Unless, that's too much," I said mockingly.
"We'll get it for you. Meet us back in here on Friday," David said.
"How much?" Tom asked.
"Twenty-five hundred... and a date," said David, while smirking. I had to hide the urge to empty my stomach on the bathroom floor.
"I don't know about that," Doug said protectively.
"Jeez, Doug. I'm not a baby anymore. I can take care of myself," I said. Doug thought for a moment.
"...Fine," he said reluctantly.
"Then it's a deal," Micheal said.
...
Tom, Doug, and I decided to head back to Jump Street after we left the bathroom. It wasn't out of character for us to leave school early and we all agreed there was no other reason to stay.
"What an absolute creep," Hansen said while driving. "Are you okay, (Y/n)?"
"I'll be fine. It was disgusting though. It looked like he was undressing me with his eyes." I shuddered and held my arms, giving myself a hug. Tom noticed and gently rested his hand on my shoulder.
"Sorry you had to be assigned to such a weirdo on your first case," Doug said. "Not all cases are like this. Most of them aren't, actually."
"Really, guys. It's not that big of a deal. All I could think of was Charles that whole time. I'll have to tell him what happened tonight."
"You said you two are high school sweethearts, right?" Doug questioned.
"Yeah," I said smiling. "We are."
"Home sweet home," Tom said while pulling into his 'designated' parking spot. "Let's go check in and get some paperwork done."
...
"Charles, I'm home," I called while stepping into our apartment.
"Hey, Honey. How was work?" He asked, walking over to me and kissing my cheek.
"Ugh. One of the brothers we have to bust openly flirted with me and gave me these creepy looks."
"I'm sorry, Hun. Did Doug and Tom step in?"
"I took care of it myself. You won't believe what I did. You're going to laugh," I said, chuckling nervously.
"What? Did something happen?"
