Tom, Doug, and I arrived at Jump Street not long after the arrest. We immediately made our way to Fuller's office to tell him about our success. His door was closed, so I knocked on it twice.

"Come in," Fuller called. I opened the door, and Tom, Doug, and I made our way into his office. Doug and I sat in the chairs  facing the desk while Tom stood behind us. "The department called me about the arrest, nice work guys."

"Thanks, Captain," Doug responded.

"I'm surprised we were able to bust them this quickly," Fuller said.

"You can thank (Y/n) for that," Tom said. "She flirted with one of the brothers for awhile. They most likely let down their guard because of her actions."

"Really?" Fuller asked, directing his attention towards me.

"U-Uh, yeah. I did. I figured that if I could get David to trust me, we could bust them faster," I explained.

"Pig," I heard Tom say under his breath. I was the only one that heard his remark, and I gave him a small smile.

"Good work, Officer Ray. I have high hopes for you," Fuller stated.

"Thank you, sir," I said.

"I'll let you know as soon as I have a new case for you, but for now, go finish your reports for this case," Fuller instructed us.

"Will do," Tom said.

Tom, Doug, and I left Fuller's office with smiles on our faces.

...

A few hours had past since we had visited Captain Fuller in his office, and I had just finished my report. I got up and filed it, then returned to my desk.

"You done already?" Tom asked. I rolled my chair to where our two desks met.

"Yeah. How are you coming?"

"Ugh, I hate paperwork," he whined. I couldn't help but giggle at his childishness.

"I can see that," I said while looking at his desk. He only had about half of his report done, and at this rate it would take him all night to finish. "How about I help you?"

"You don't have to, (Y/n)," he quickly said.

"Seriously, Tommy, it's fine. I don't mind. Besides, if we want to go out for a drink tonight, you've got to finish your report," I reasoned.

Tom groaned. He paused for a moment, thinking over my offer. It was almost like I could see the gears turning in his head. "Fine. But if you have something else you need to do, then do that first," he finally responded. He grabbed a few papers out of his file and handed them to me.

"Thanks, Hanson."

"No, thank you."

...

Tom and I managed to finish his report fast than I expected. I could see why it was taking him so long to finish; his report was incredibly detailed. It was nice to see someone who cared so much about something as little as a report. Even I had my limits when it came to paperwork. I always try to be as detailed as possible, but it's very difficult. I have a lot of respect for Tom.

Tom came back from filing his report and flopped down in his chair. He let out a long content sigh and closed his eyes for a moment. I never took the time to appreciate how handsome Tom was. His soft brown hair and piercing brown eyes were stunning to say the least. His jawline was well defined and his smile... it was heavenly. It was like the gods themselves carved his smile.
