Let me teach you

Now that Yunho was accepting and not forcing his idea that Yeosang was 16 onto Yeosang and forcing him to try and conjure thoughts and knowledge they may not even be there to begin with, he began to see Yeosang's child-likeness in a new light.

What if there was something in the real world that was keeping his mind young? Maybe Yeosang not being able to recall anything from the real world was his coping mechanism in this dreamspace?

What if in the real world this is how he actually is?

Yunho decided to not dwell on what might be, but instead use this opportunity to teach Yeosang and help him grow. It was possible that things he learnt in this space could be used out in his real world.

Yunho did some research while he was awake, actually awake, before and after school and on weekends, confusing his parents by pulling down all his old school books from the attic from when he was in primary school and studying them like a mad man.

If he was going to teach Yeosang he might as well start at the level the younger was claiming to be at.

Math, spelling, grammar, science, art, and everything in between Yunho decided he would teach it all to the smaller.

He made sure to study and look really hard at all his books, both text book and work book so he could successfully bring them into the dream space for Yeosang to look at. If he didn't look at them the books would come up blank in the dreamworld, Yunho really had to reach each and every word.

Being able to conjure up things that would normally cost money was one of Yunho's favourite things. He could literally have anything he wanted as long as he looked at it and embraced it in person.

So of course he made a special trip to the stationary store just to stare at all the cool pens and pencils so he could give Yeosang cool stationary to work with too.

Yunho was sure the lady that worked at the stationary store was shooting arrows at his back for always coming in, picking up and touching everything and then not buying anything.

Yunho had also spent a fun afternoon perusing IKEA for furniture supplies so he could set up his little mock school space just the way he wanted it.

In the dream space Yunho chose the pergola to hold his mock school, he had chosen a cute little brown floor table, with two blue cushion chairs and one of those a3 size white boards from the bargain store that you could carry around and write on.

It was a bit like a game for Yunho, and maybe for Yeosang too, but Yunho also knew that what he was teaching the smaller meant a whole lot more, particularly when he could see what he was teaching being reflected back in Yeosang's growing confidence and knowledge.

Yunho really did need to start from the very beginning, teaching him how to write the letters of the alphabet correctly, how to hold a pencil, also teaching him that there was more to life than just crayons and pencils.

Yeosang was probably the best student ever, the type that actual teachers craved to have in their classrooms. Yunho had expected Yeosang to repel from learning, mainly because that's what he had done when he was in primary school, school wasn't exactly Yunho's favourite place. But instead Yeosang listened to literally everything Yunho told him soaking in all his words like a sponge.

That didn't mean the smaller didn't get bored though, and when Yeosang was getting bored he'd speak up and they would simply stop and do something else. They had all the time in the world. Yunho was very flexible in his approach, not that he really had one to begin with, but whatever he was doing it was working.

No matter what though, Yunho always made it his mission to make sure the smaller learnt 3 things at least each night, even if they were only small things, a new word, a way to solve an equation, how to spin his pencil on his thumb. No matter how useful or insignificant Yunho just wanted Yeosang to know the same things that he did.

Like all students Yeosang had a favourite subject, and that turned out to be art. The smaller had a passion for drawing even though his skills were lacking. Yunho taught Yeosang what little skills he had on how to draw, but he could only do so much.

After some serious googling and a tone of YouTube videos later Yunho realised that to help Yeosang in his passion for art, he was going to require a larger arsenal of supplies.

Once again Yunho was off exploring places in the real world that he wouldn't normally go to just to gather supplies and information for the smaller to use.

He went to the art store for paints, good quality pencils, pastels, pens, brushes and other useful tools, touching everything and buying nothing.

He went to the library and into the art section for books on how to draw, about historical artists, popular art trends, and different art styles so Yeosang would have some reading material. Yunho was sure he was learning a thing or two as well since he had to read everything before he presented it to Yeosang.

Yunho used the prospect of drawing to motivate Yeosang to focus. For example if Yeosang could complete a page of math equations then Yunho would present him with a new art supply to use.

Not before long but Yeosang was actually maturing and growing in his own special way, learning new skills and expanding his mind. Yeosang was actually quite a fast learner, which meant that Yunho only had to explain things twice or so before Yeosang completely grasped whatever it was that he was trying to teach the smaller. It was as if his mind was trying to catch up to his body.

Yunho felt proud that he was actually able to teach Yeosang. It made him appreciate school just that little more, knowing that if he could pay attention and learn in class then he could pass on that information to Yeosang.

So just like that Yunho became not just his friend and soulmate but also Yeosang's teacher, and he his student.

Of course Yunho hoped one day Yeosang would run up to him, tell him he remembers everything and then they could come together in the real world, but until then Yunho was happy to live with Yeosang like this.

A/N I'm just going to pop this here because I think I may have confused some of you
( ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ)
So!
Yeosang's body is that of a 16 year old not a 6 year old. The whole 6/16 year old thing will make sense later on

I just thought I'd make that clear other wise this book might be real weird for some of you guys in coming chapters lol
