Yeosang could see nothing, but he knew he was waking up.

It was always dark and cold before he entered the dream space.

He knew he did this so often the process should be as clear as the back of his hand, but it wasn't, the process was always fuzzy just like his regular dreams.

One minute he'd be dreaming of anything, everything and nothing, then he'd become conscious of dreaming, he'd then think about Yunho and then his body would land in the garden in a snap.

Sometimes Yunho would appear straight away, sometimes Yeosang would be on his own, Yunho always appeared eventually though, it was extremely very rare that he didn't.

There was one time that Yunho didn't appear at all and it had been the time when Yunho had yelled at Yeosang and that made him upset, in the nights that followed Yeosang would appear and Yunho wouldn't. Maybe he didn't want to see Yunho or maybe Yunho didn't want to see him; either way it was still lonely.

But waking up this time it felt different.

There was darkness, but he was not aware in the familiar sense. There was no instantaneous flash of colour as the word appeared around him but rather a growing feeling that was both within him and surrounding him with new divinity.

He felt heavy, like someone had attached weights all over his body, and there was a dull ache in the pit of his stomach that was getting smaller and smaller as his heart and soul filled with warmth.

There was an odd tingling feeling in his body, but it was most present in the pit of his stomach and in his hands; hands to which he was sure were wrapped in something.

Yeosang moved his thumb, not entirely aware of what he was doing since he was in a state of inbetween. Yeosang could feel something smooth and warm. It was comforting.

Suddenly the blackness before his eyes began to fade, an orbit of colour painting across his vision one by one. He'd never entered the dream space like this before. He could see the garden before him come into focus and he blinked a couple of times as he tried to make things clearer.

Then something else entered his eye line and Yeosang felt his heart leap from his chest; there were two unfamiliar figures sitting a little ways away from him.

Yeosang immediately closed his eyes again, not believing his eyes and craving Yunho for safety. There had never ever been anyone else but him and Yunho in the dream space, who were these strangers? Why were they here? How was it possible?

Yeosang gently opened his eyes again and looked down finally noticing Yunho before him and understanding where the comforting feeling was coming from. He was look back at him, and a wave of relief rolled through Yeosang's body.

"Yeosang?" Yunho asked in a soft voice.

Yeosang wasn't given a chance to answer though as Yunho fell forwards into his lap. The olders head hitting his lap with what Yeosang assumed to be an uncomfortable thud.

"YUNHO!" Yeosang yelled, his hands suddenly moving to Yunho's hair and face.

Just what on earth was happening? Yunho was never in the dream space when he woke up, there were never other people there either. Why had Yunho fallen in his lap like that? Why wasn't he moving, why did he feel so cold?

Yeosang tried to lift Yunho's head up off his lap, ignoring the two strangers who were making strange gasping sounds for some unknown reason, he'd get to them later. But Yunho's head rolled sideways out of his hands and the olders body fell backwards into the grass. Yeosang immediately slid off the garden chair he had been sitting on and onto the grass beside Yunho.
