We Found Love

When we reached the amusement park, August gets a call from Jennie. "Yes?" He says, picking the phone up. "Ah, okay. We'll meet you there."

"What did Jennie say?" I ask.

"She said to follow her now, so she can get us a security team." August replies. I nod in understanding. "Alright."

We follow the van that passed us and end up in the staff section of the park, meeting with a security team that will follow us around. "Now," Jennie starts. "We will be around filming and so will the security team. We won't be visible, but if you ever need us just call us out and we'll be there. Alright?" She asks the two of us.

We both nod and Jennie gives the security guard the ok, and we head inside to the amusement park.

Immediately, we see people stare and whisper as they pass us. Some try to walk up to us, but the security guards stop them before they get any closer.

"Hey, before we start going on rides, I'll gonna go somewhere real quick. Just wait for me," August says, walking away. I nod and stay in my spot, looking around the park. There were various food stands and rest areas, and a castle entrance behind me that lead to the rollercoasters and bigger rides.

I notice that more and more people were being sent away from the security guards, and I suddenly feel bad. I know it's for mine and August's safety, but I always enjoyed saying hi to fans and taking pictures. I mean, I wouldn't be where I am today without their support.

I walk up to one of the guards and tap him on the shoulder. "Hey, it's alright they talk to me," I tell him. "I don't mind. And if you think it's getting out of hand, feel free to stop me." I smile and face a girl. "Hi, how are you?"

We talk for a bit and I greet other fans, taking pictures and signing autographs. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of commotion, much to my preference.

"Oh my gosh, August Gilmore!"

I turn around and find August holding a pair of pink mouse ears, with him wearing one as well. I burst into laughter as he gives me a confused look. "You look cute," I tell him. Some of the girls gasp at my comment and some whisper.

August hands me the pair of mouse ears. "Here, now we can look cute together." My eyes widen and I just stare at it.

"Aren't the two on We Found Love?"

"Yeah, they must be filming right now!"

"They're so cute together!"

I hear whispers behind me and blush. "You didn't have to," I mutter at August. But he then shakes his head and puts the mouse ears on my head, much to my surprise.

"But I wanted to. Now," He starts speaking to the group of girls. "As much as we'd love to hang out with you guys, my wife and I are on a date." They begin squealing at the word "wife" and I blush even more when August takes my hand. "So if you don't mind, we'd like some time alone."

The group immediately complies and they walk away after saying bye and taking pictures of us. August waves at the girls and walks toward the castle entrance silently.

"What was that all about?" I ask him.

"Hm?" He looks at me. "That? What, am I not allowed to go on a date with you without anyone interrupting us?"

I scoff softly and look away. "We're not even dating in real life," I mutter to myself. But I smile and glance at our hands, still intertwined.

We spend the rest of the day riding rollercoasters and playing carnival games. I loved rollercoasters, and I was surprised to hear that he wasn't that big of a fan of them.
