"And welcome back to We Found Love, the reality tv show that sets up your ships to sail! Last week we said farewell to the fourth and final marriage of the season, Chrystal and Benjamin. To all you ChrysJamin fans all there, here's some sweet moments to highlight the course of their marriage."

I take a bite of my salad and turn the volume a bit higher, watching a scene where the two are on a vacation. I'm in my dressing room, waiting till I have to go out for an interview.

"ChrysJamin, huh? I guess there weren't a lot of ratings for them."

I turn around from my chair and see my manager, Peyton, who's holding a paper bag. "I don't know, they were trending a couple of times before." I face the T.V screen and take another bite of my salad. "What's that?"

"Some chicken wings, you need the protein." Peyton hands me the bag and I open it, inhaling the delicious smell of seasoning. "Thanks!" I take a chicken wing and continue watching the show.

"Thanks to our wonderful viewers who keep this show running and interactive, we got to see what Chrystal and Benjamin were all about! But with a new season approaching, it's time for a new couple to appear! I wonder who the lucky stars will be..." A slideshow of different celebrities appears, with the words Could They Be Next? plastered across the top of the screen.

I continue eating, my attention span thinning out as I eat the chicken wings. But a photo of a male celebrity catches my eye and I look up.

August Gilmore. He's the rising singer/musician from the group Crowned Nation that broke the record of placing first on the music show charts. Every single girl was utterly obsessed with him and there is not a time or place where you would hear his voice or see his face.

It is absolutely sickening.

Peyton notices the small scowl on my face and pats my shoulder. "You really should let go of that hatred you have with August." I turn to face her. "Are you kidding me? He is so disrespectful and doesn't even know how to filter the nonsense that goes through his mouth. He's a terrible, sick son of a-"

Before I could finish, Peyton's tablet rings and she picks it up, looking at the notification. "Sorry to cut you off on that tangent, but you can go backstage now and get ready." I sigh and hop out of my chair. "Remember, always flash a smile and don't let whatever's bothering you get in your head while being interviewed. We don't like petty drama circulating your new show." She reminds me.

I nod and push out the thoughts of boys and romantic shows, taking a breath mint as I walk out of my dressing room. Interviews scare me, despite me doing them for several years. But, any other thoughts besides the interview make me distracted, and with my new show premiering in two weeks, I can't have any distractions when trying to promote. So, I huff and focus on my main goal. Rising to the top.

Pursuit of Happiness. It's a coming-of-age show that focuses on college kids graduating and trying to figure out what means to them the most before they're pushed out into the real world. The show came up as an offer to me and I heard that some of the top rising actors were cast in a role as well, which may or may not influenced my decision to accept it.

Despite being twenty-three, people are always shocked to hear that I've been in the acting industry for fifteen years. I always starred in shows where I was a supporting character, and my level of fame never grew to international status. But, it was a long road to get where I am and now I'll have a lead role, which is surreal.
