I don't know why, but when I woke up this morning I felt so happy. It could be the super comfortable hotel bed, the fact that I could sleep in this super comfortable hotel bed, or the fact that I was in August's embrace when I opened my eyes.

Just as I flutter my eyes open, I notice August is awake as well. "Good morning," He grumbles, giving me a tired smile. I chuckle at his disheveled state. "Good morning to you too." I pull away from his arms, getting ready to get out of bed when August holds on to my arms.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"Getting ready. As much as I would love to stay in bed all day, Jennie will be coming by around noon." I tell August.

He sighs heavily and reluctantly lets go of my arm, pulling the duvet over his head. When I grab my phone, I notice that there were a couple of texts from Kira.

Kira: Hey girl! How are things with We Found Love?

Emery: Going well, I have some stuff to catch you up on

Kira: Well, when you get back let's hang with Isla! It's been a while

Emery: 100% would love to

After Kira and I text, I quickly get ready and wash up, making sure that I looked presentable and that my makeup didn't look like a hot mess. The happy feelings didn't go away as I got ready, in fact, I found myself smiling more and more.

This all felt like a dream. If you were to tell me at the beginning of this whole experience that things would've turned out like this, I would've thought you were crazy. That, August and me? Together?

I pause and look at my reflection. Were he and I officially together? Are we dating for real? Or was he just caught up in the heat of the moment and kissed me?

I shake the thoughts away and continue doing my makeup. There wasn't any use overthinking silly things like labels. But as I pushed the thoughts away, they came back.

Why did you let him kiss you, Emery? It's going to be even harder for you when you quit We Found Love since none of this is REAL! For all you know, August could be manipulating you!

I frown and angrily put away my makeup, ticked off by what I just told myself. "Oh shut it, anxious Emery," I mutter. "This is why we can't have nice things,"

August gets out of bed after I shake him multiple times, and we get finished getting ready by the time Jennie and the camera crew arrive. "Aw, the two of you look like you're ready to go out and do stuff!"

I give Jennie a confused look. "Well, isn't that the plan?"

She laughs and enters inside our hotel room. "Today is your last day at this beautiful resort, and you guys haven't even enjoyed its luxuries!" Jennie points to the glass window, showing the view of the beach. "Your 'mission' today is to take advantage of this resort before we head back.

"Now, where are your bathing suits," Jennie asks us. "You aren't going to the beach in regular clothing, are you?"

August and I shake our heads and Jennie motions us to change into our swimsuits and grab whatever is essential for a day at the beach. When we arrived at the beachfront, I couldn't help but take a deep breath. I don't know why, but something about the smell of the beach water and the warm sand always relaxed me. And honestly, I am glad that this last day will be used to just soak in the sun.

I prop up the beach chairs that were given to us and I put on some sunscreen. "Do you need help?" August asks me. I feel a brush creep up and I shake my head. "It's alright, thank you though." I respond.
