Letter to Dr. Jose Rizal

Thy words are great,
thy quill as well,
both brought independence,
captured bliss.

Thy greatness proclaimed,
thy history remains,
But the world changes,
It all have great minds.

Does thy words be forgotten,
in this portal of reality?,
Where taxes bring life,
sometimes take out.

Little rich
suits are gold,
Crowds of hungry
doesn't own even bronze.

Doors and windows
denied for youths,
Only with names
were given chances.

Justice for high
deaths for low,
Billions at hand
who'll say "no"?

A many ingelligent
all are coward knights,
A many potentials,
deprived for the rights!

Yesterday's land
was clean and bounty,
Compared with this "now"
dirts and bloods are paints.

The soul of your ink
has many to tell,
But the souls of today
are crying with grief.

Thy words are great,
it will always remain,
But the "now" needs not a word,
but a deed of bravery and love.

If you're in heaven,
write me a world, a better place,
where dreams of peace and love
may be achieved.
