UNTIL YOU COME BACK HOME

***A couch personified.

It was summer when all of you welcomed me to your family,
And I've seen your happiness while you're jumping all the way,
My comforts changed your laughter as I offer all my lap,
And I became a witness of a family's full of love.

It was a journal of moments when I hug the three of you,
While your talking with some laughters I always feel anew,
The warmth of love is evident with the kiss and hugs of your parents,
With the warmth of my caress, all the love perfectly blends.

When you played on my lap and climbed at my top,
I always feel the genuine of a child full of love.
'Til you're weary of the game and now you sleeps at my lap,
Sweet refuge you've found for my love never stops.

After years of staying I've seen you growing very fast,
And everyday I can see you wearing that small bag at your back,
I'm so glad to see you everytime you went home,
But we don't play like we use to 'cause you're with your paper and crayons.

Until once upon a time teenage seems to keep you far,
Seems once in a blue moon that I can see your sweet smile,
Everytime your tears touched into my very firm shoulders,
The pain seems to rest in my whole parts forever,
You have so much time in dealing with love and with your dreams,
It looks that both took you away, it really seems.

Now I miss all the smiles and the laughters you've made,
But this day, I saw it but not with me as your friend,
You're hanging it in the wall, a four-angled picture frame,
With your face in a toga, you're now making your own name.

Oh! I'm the happiest among all seeing you with success,
How I wish I could give you my gift of love and caress,
But in a second I saw you with a luggage in your hands,
While bidding farewell to your parents there are tears in your eyes.
To pursuing your passion, you'll be flying even high,
How many seasons to wait, to see you with them: can still I?

I'll be waiting for your remand even how long it would be,
As your bestfriend my love forever unto thee,
I'll promise to relieve the desolation of your parents,
While looking back to the old days that together we've spent.

I'm a couch in your home a witness of your story,
I'm happy to be filled with so much love of a family,
Things may change but love always remains,
Praying for your come back and stay here in the end.
