We want to see our lover's face when we wake up,
To hold their hands tightly as we pray to Heaven,
Sip our coffee while looking at their eyes,
And being asked about our errands for the day.
We want to see their messages showing care and love,
Just a thought of having someone remind you to eat your meals
And someone whose concern about your health and safety
Thrills our souls.
We want to feel that there's someone waiting for us at home,
Who burst all their efforts just to cook dinner for us,
Who made the house cozy for the rest of the night,
Who's willing to give their caress 'cause they missed us much.
We want to see our lover's face before we go to sleep,
To hold their hands tightly as we whisper again our prayers,
We want to hear their good night words tingle in our ears,
And we wish to have a warm cuddle in the coldness of the night.
We want this love, a lover that is content,
A lover that still loves even days seems a routine,
A lover that still loves even the spark has gone,
We want this relationship, where love alone is the foundation; nothing else.
We want to love someone whom we could see in both reality and dream,
And realize how blessed we are to have them in our arms,
We want to love someone who loved our broken past,
And who's excited to grow with us in the future and beyond.
We all crave for love that we deserve,
The love that would tell us that we're worth the fight.
We all crave for love that sees perfection in our flaws,
That no matter how unlovable we are, they still stay.
