you were studying at general studies, along with hitoshi shinsou. you were friends with him since you were children, both of you having the same quirk. the difference is, once you lock eyes with the enemy and activated your quirk, you can control them. it can be deactivated through blinking, somewhat like eraserhead's. "hitoshi, do you wanna go to the cat cafe?" you asked him and he looked at you. "y/n, study. we have a test tomorrow," he replied silently. you 'hmph-ed' him and mumbled 'fine'.

"yo did you see the girl the shinsou kid was with?" kaminari opened up the topic. "are you talking about y/n?" mina asked. kami nodded. "she's pretty," kami mumbled, somewhat distracted. "will u shut up pikachu," bakugo grumbled, studying his notebook while eating. "yo here she comes!" kaminari decided to stand up and walk towards you and shinsou while you were both heading to the farthest table from the crowd. "hey uh, y/n, would you mind if i take your number?" kami tried. once you locked your eyes on him, you activated your quirk. shinsou smirked beside you as you led kami back to their table.

once he reached them, you dropped your quirk, watching their face morph shock in their features. "you never fail to make me smile with your antics y/n," shinsou whispered at you, kissing your forehead and softly ruffling your hair as you both sat down on your usual table. there were a lot of onlookers who witnessed what you did, including monoma who was laughing at the 1-A students' shock.
