"OUT OF THE WAY!" you were standing, frozen, looking at the villain who looked at you sharply. the last thing you remembered was the feeling of being pulled by a cold hand and the sound of explosions.

you woke up in an unfamiliar room. the rays of the sun were golden and the sun was already setting. sitting up slowly, you looked around with unfocused eyes, rubbing them after. you then realized that there's a wire connected to your left hand. you looked down on it, still focusing your eyes, when you room's door slip open.

a guy with green hair sighed happily in a relieved way. "great to see you're okay now," he smiled cheerfully while you looked at him and his companions curiously. "ah, sorry im deku," the green haired guy said. "what happened?" you asked but it came out half whispered. "there was a villain attack in the building you were working on. you're lucky deku saw you or you would've died," the guy with white and red hair told you with a serious aura. "why were you just standing there anyway?" the blond asked with an irritated tone. the three were all contrasting personalities however their auras are scary. cool and collected. explosive and intelligence. bright and comforting. 'so this are heroes,' you thought.

"ah- ahm sorry about this two. this is todoroki-san and bakugo-san. they were with me when we rescued you," deku said and you looked away. "sorry for that. for being in the way i mean. the vill--" you stopped yourself. "nevermind," you mumbled. shoto noticed the sudden shift of your mood, from curious to scared to sorrowful. he looked at you then bakugo, to see him also staring at you curiously.

"what were you about to say?" deku asked in a consoling way however you shook her head, not wanting to say anything. the doctor walked in to check on her and took the suero, the wire on your hand, off carefully. he then nodded and deku left the bags of food on the table beside you. "do you want to eat? im sure you're hungry after a day of not.. eating," he mumbled, somewhat confused on what he said, which made you giggle. the three boys looked at you in shock, todoroki looking away first then bakugo. deku noticed their reactions but acted like it was normal. "sooo, l/n-san, how do you feel?" both of you and deku or izuku, his first name, engaged in a conversation while he was helping you up and the 2 other boys were preparing the food. they weren't that social so their silence wasn't awkward at all. you felt much better after eating and the boys left you to sleep the rest of the night.

"tch. you can't stop me y/n. i might be your brother but if you'll get in my way, it won't be the same," your brother told you. he wasn't a bigtime criminal. he actually just started doing crimes when they were short on money. you sighed. "but-- what if you get caught?" you asked him. "i wont leave you right?" his face distorts to the villain smile she's scared of. "you already did," he fluttered his lashes and lunged at you.

you woke up to todoroki's face. he sighed in relief, barely audible. "i-- thank you," you told him and then you felt tears. he looked at you for a moment then settled back, shrugging. "were you having that bad of a nightmare?" you nodded. "is it connected to what happened two days ago?" another nod. "i might be able to help," he mumbled. he looked at you and held out his hand.

"let's go stargazing" he told you with a soft smile. you looked at his hand, putting yours above it. he immediately stood up to help you on to the wheelchair. he took the elevator down to the hospital's garden where he led you to a clearing as if it was very natural for him to do it. "would you mind?" you hummed confusedly. "telling me i mean," you shook your head. "no. though i just dont know how to put it into words," you told him. he nodded and sat on the spot next to you. "take your time. i don't mind waiting. as long as i can help you ease up," he looked at you then back to the night sky.

"we were both young when we lost our parents to the hands of a villain. i never blamed anyone for their deaths. they were heroes after all. me and my brother went to an orphanage after," you paused, gathering your thoughts. "let's just say we were fortunate to have foster parents even though they were both quirkless. we were happy until they got caught up in a hero villain fight. both of them were casualties. from then on, my brother changed. he blamed heroes for not having enough strength to save the 2 pairs of parents we had," you looked down from the stars. "he was the villain who assaulted me two days ago," you told him with a lump on your throat. "i- i was trying to stop him," your tears slowly fell down and you swallowed the surfacing sobs. "i feel bad for not being enough to stop him," you told the boy who was now staring at you intently. he wasn't saying a word though his thumb rubbed the back of your hand soothingly. his hand was warm and comforting that you didn't even need his words of comfort and/or pieces of advice to say 'thank you' to him. he shrugged. "it's the least i can do," he told you as he froze the tears falling from your chin to his hand.

after some time, both of you decided to head back to your room. he let you sleep while he guarded the room for any harm. looking at you basking under the moonlight from the window, he sighed. for him, you look like stardust was floating around you making you seem so delicate. he had the urge to protect you especially after what you told him in the garden. he had nothing else to do and thoughts of you smiling clouded his mind. he ran his fingers through his hair, frustrated. he decided to keep quiet and maintain his emotionless facade even after what happened.
