Chapter 4- Meet the Guys!

Tenten's POV

Hinata, Ino, and Sakura walked with me to the dining hall. I was definitely thankful for this, because knowing me, I would have never found it on my own. As we walked, we talked about ourselves, and I learned that Hinata was super into art, Ino was a cheerleader, and Sakura was a volleyball player. Well that explains her hits I guess. I thought to myself. I also explained to them that I hoped to join the soccer team.

"Omg yes! We need a girl on the team." Ino said. "The captain is Hinata's cousin, maybe she can introduce you!"

Hinata nodded in agreement.

I smiled back. "Thanks, that would be great!"

Once we arrived we got in line behind a familiar looking blond haired boy.

"Oh, hey Naruto!" Sakura called.

He turned around. "Oh, hey guys! Oh, you met Tenten?"

They looked confused. "Um, you met Tenten?" Sakura asked.

"Oh ya." Naruto said. "We're like, super tight. You know?"

"He showed me to the room earlier." I explained. Ino and Sakura nodded in an "ohhh" expression. Strangely, Hinata seemed frozen still.

Naruto seemed to notice too. "Hey, Hinata, are you okay?" Her face only became red at this question, and very stiffly, she nodded a yes.

Naruto seemed relieved. "Oh good, I wouldn't want you getting sick again, that seems to always happen to you."

Ino and Sakura tried their best to hide their smirks.

Naruto seemed to catch eye contact with someone in the distance. "Oh hey! You guys! Come over here!"

Three guys were walking in our direction. One had a hairstyle similar to that of a pineapple, with a really tired look in his eyes. Another had dark hair, almost black, that kind of stuck out at the end, and black eyes. And the last...

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

It was the boy who I bumped my nose on earlier, although I had to admit that was not entirely his fault. I hadn't gotten a good look at him earlier, because I was holding my nose at the time, but looking at him now, I noticed he had long brown hair, and startling white eyes like Hinata's.

Oh, I guess that's her cousin, Neji. Which means...

"Sasuke! Shikamaru! Neji!" Naruto called. "Come over here and introduce yourselves to Tenten!"

"Do you have to be so loud?" Pineapple head groaned. "We're right here you know."

Naruto started with him. "This is Shikamaru Nara. He's the laziest person you'll ever meet, but somehow, he is the front runner for valedictorian. It's a mystery no one will ever know the answer to. He's also on the chess team."

Next, Naruto pointed to the one with shorter hair than the rest. "This is Sasuke Uchiha. He's pretty popular with the ladies." Naruto winked at Sasuke when he said this. "He's also on the baseball team with me, but he's not nearly as good."

Sasuke glared back at Naruto. "You wish, dobe."

Naruto grinned back. "Anyway, lastly we have Neji Hyuga. He's Hinata's cousin, and he plays soccer and is on student counsel. He's also pretty popular with the ladies."

"Nice to meet you all." I said. They all nodded and shook my hand. For some reason, Neji refused to look me in the eyes. Maybe he's mad at me for earlier.

"Oh um, sorry about earlier..." I said to him.

He only responded with a "Hn." And continued to look away.

Yikes. This guy's a jerk. I guess that's to be expected from someone as gorgeous as he is. Wait. Did I just say that?

We had finally reached the front of the line, picked up the chicken and rice that was being served, and found a table where we could all fit.
