Chapter 12- Um, Sasuke?

Sakura's POV

It was Wednesday afternoon and I had just gotten out of Volleyball practice.

"Wow, that was the hardest practice we've had in forever." Groaned Moegi, one of the freshmen.

"Yeah, Anko-sensei is no joke." I answered. I was getting changed into my regular school uniform when I spotted Ino walking in. I walked up to her.

"Sup, Piggie." 

"Hey Sakura..." She looked kind of down.

"Ino? What's wrong?" I was kind of concerned. She didn't even insult me. (Which was unusual for her).

"Ugh I am so bored! There is absolutely no good gossip going on at this lameass school. My blog is suffering!"

"Well, Tenten came on Sunday, we got into a fight with Karin, Naruto gave Hinata a concussion, Neji beat Naruto up twice this week, and it's only Wednesday." I paused, realizing what she just said. "Wait, you have a gossip blog?"

"Yes sweetie." She said as she opened her locker and started to change.

"Um, am I on it?"

"Yes sweetie, you're the star. I'm honestly surprised you haven't noticed yet." I was shocked. But honestly, not that shocked. This was Ino after all. But I acted all annoyed with her (because I was low-key) and left her to walk up to our room by herself.

"Hey, wait!" She called. "Do you even have a room key?" As she said this, I realized that I SUPER didn't.

Oh whatever, I'll just walk around or something until then.

I started to aimlessly wander the school, just thinking about all of the things going on in my life. Our first volleyball game in a few weeks, this stupid Biology test in a few days, the stupid jerk that I kind of like but it was stupid to even think about him because he would never notice me.....

"Sakura?"

I turned around. Oh great. Right on cue.

"Oh, hey Sasuke. What's up?" I said, clearly not giving an actual fuck about what was up.

Sasuke noticed my tone and raised his eyebrows a little. "Um, I was about to ask you that. Why are you on the guys side of the dorms?"

I looked around. Oh, am I? I hadn't even noticed....

"Oh, I'm just kind of walking around. I don't really know."

He gave me a confused look. "Um, are you okay? You seem kind of... weird."

"Wow. Thanks. Really appreciate the compliment." I sighed. "I don't know. I think I'm kind of, in a mood."

"Is there a reason?"

Wow. Why is he actually engaging in conversation? I would have thought he'd just "hnned" his way out by now...

"Oh well, a lot I guess. Did you know Ino has a gossip blog? Because I just found out about it."

He smiled. "Oh ya. The Konoha Tattletale? I read that shit all the time. I especially like the entry about your fight with Karin."

Wtf. Is this even Sasuke? First of all, he's talking to me, and second of all, he's secretly into gossip?

"You seriously read that? I thought you couldn't care less about that kind of stuff?" And then I smiled. "And thank you by the way. She would have been so finished if we continued that fight."

"Alright, well, bye Sakura." He waved to me as he walked away.

Okay. WHAT THE HELL? That was sooooo not Sasuke. Was he drunk? Drugged? An imposter? An alien? My weird ass mood had just been completely erased, and my mind was now focused on this anomaly. I ran back to my room to immediately inform Ino of this paranormal encounter. And she better not put this on her blog this time!!!!!
