The sounds of a slow clapping could be heard.

All of the pros at the Nomu location were on the ground. Tiger hunched over Ragdoll's body, Mt. Lady shivered on the ground, and both Gang Orca and Jeanist were on their backs. Jeanist lay trembling on the ground, out in the open, his arms bloody and his clothes tattered.

"I see why you're the #4 Hero, Jeanist" the strange voice mused, the figure who had just arrived continuing to clap. "That blast should have annihilated the lot of you. However, you throwing the others out of the way did tamper with that outcome. You used your Quirk to drag them by their clothes to that safer distance, right? How admirable. Consider me impressed."

It's him, Best Jeanist thought in horror.

"We believe the head villain is comparable to All Might, but in the reverse," a policeman said at the rescue briefing. "He is crafty, strong, and cautious. He will not reveal himself unless his safety is guaranteed. You must capture Shigaraki and others while rescuing the boy quickly. Once we take those variables into better hands, we can move on to their leader."

"It wasn't supposed to go like this," Jeanist rasped, afraid.

Tendrils of cloth stabbed into the ground, supporting the pro as he shakily strained to sit up.

"But that doesn't matter....A true hero doesn't believe in excuses!!" Jeanist yelled, shooting thick strands of material at the suited figure, meaning to attack.

But they never made it.

Another powerful blast was now fully directed at Jeanist alone. It hit him, and when the dust cleared, he was left with a hole in his stomach and shaking cloth tentacles in the air. He had been hit.

His heart stopped in fear.

And

Pain...............................

A mere second later had the ground beneath him implode from the impact of the blast. His abdomen spurted blood, and he gasped for air and relief. His eyes were wide and small, and he jolted back down towards the crumbling ground beneath him.

His life seemed to flash before his eyes.

He fell to the ground, limp, with no fight left in him.

"Now I see," the suited figure purred, looking down on the fallen body of the pro as he pointed. "You're strength comes from practice and practical experience, not raw power. I will not need your Quirk, then. It would not pair well with Tomura's disposition."

The pale light of the moon now shone fully on the figure. It was a man, in a dark suit and dress shoes. His hands gave away his adult age somewhat, but his common body was not as attention-grabbing. It was his head that stuck out. His face was covered with a strange ebony mask, with a few tubes and a brace scattered at the bottom for breathing purposes. It was extremely-detailed, almost looking like a skull, but hid every facial feature entirely.

He looked downright menacing.

His voice was the only way you could discern his emotion.

And even then, it wasn't much.

This man was powerful.

This man was dangerous.

This man.....

Was All For One.

The five students pressed themselves against what now remained of the ruined alley wall.
