"Welcome back to our summer special!" a female news anchor grinned at the camera. "We have a special guest here with us today: All Might! We'll be looking back on All Might's achievements, and-"
She was cut off as the TV was powered down. Kurogiri set the TV's remote down on the bar counter, being the one who shut it off. He then turned to his left, to a person sitting at the bar.
I figured it out now, Shigaraki grinned to himself. Stain and that Midoriya girl only annoy me because they reek of that stupid All Might. I'll show that idiot hero that he's not unbeatable.
Shigaraki got up from his bar stool, walking to the door. He opened it, went through, and closed it without a word. Kurogiri watched him leave then looked down at the spare photograph they had of a certain greenette.
"Izuku Midoriya," he murmured. "Quirkless until Middle School when she suddenly manifested a great power, and growing in her power until she ended up in the Top 8 of the world-famous sports festival. She also fought Stain with two friends of hers, hm? The man deemed her worthy somehow of being a hero, allowing her to live when he had every chance to slit her throat."
This will certainly be an interesting endeavor.

Now that the intense first semester of UA was over, Deku and the rest of 1-A was out for summer vacation. Deku was pondering the training camp that was steadily approaching as she worked out with some weights in her room. She wanted to be as prepared as possible for anything.
She stopped, looking down at her scarred hands. With everything that had led up to this point, there were times when she still didn't believe that this was her life. The best hero in the world chose to pass his special Quirk One For All onto her.
A doorbell jarred her out of her thoughts.
"Mineta? Kaminari?" she said, opening the front door in surprise.
"Hey, Midoriya," Kaminari winked.
"Come to the pool with us!" Mineta grinned.
"The pool?" Deku repeated.
"Yeah," Kaminari nodded. "Some fun before the training camp."
"We'll get in some solid laughs," Mineta gave her a thumbs-up. "And we'll train, too! You should invite the girls! We'll take care of the boys."
Deku blinked a couple times, considering their words.

"Eraser, can you confirm your classes Quirks?" Vlad King of Class 1-B asked. "The training camp is being modified to adapt to the training they require.
"Mm," Aizawa nodded, beginning.
