Kirsnick Ball

I woke up the next morning and I was in bed alone, which is weird because Y/N always sleeps longer than I do. I sat up and looked around and I couldn't smell anything cooking. I got up and walked into the bathroom and she wasn't there getting ready. I went in the closet and she wasn't there either.

I walked downstairs and found her old man sitting at the kitchen table so I went in the kitchen to see if she was in there. Since he was sitting down she had to be in there making something to eat right? nope she wasn't in there either. I walked back into the dining room where her dad was sitting.

"she's gone," he said.

"did she go to the office early or something?" I asked him.

"np," he replied.

"well where the hell did she go?" asked him.

He shrugged his shoulders. "hell if I know,"

"then how do you know that she left?" I asked.

"I saw her walk out the door early this morning with a bag, but I was supposed to be asleep so I didn't say anything to her." he said.

"you didn't stop her. You didn't ask where she was going. What-"

"why would I?" he asked with a shrug of her shoulders.

He stood up from the chair and pushed it into place on the table. "so, she gets up and disappears in the middle of the night and you don't say anything?"

"I wasn't supposed to see her." he said. "I don't know how many times I did the same thing to her."

"What?"

"when she was young, I would leave her with my mom and sometimes with my sister, but larissa didn't let that go on for long and when she moved across country, I couldn't do that anymore. She would stay with my mom until my mom passed but around that time, she was old enough to take care of herself." he said.

"Is that where you been this whole time?" I asked him.

"yeah and up until now I didn't see a problem with it." he said.

"What do you mean?"

"she was about 9 when she started sleeping on the sofa when she I came home. So that she would always know when I left. I didn't think that there was anything wrong with what I was doing. I knew that she was awake when I left most of the time but I still left anyway. I never knew how much betrayal was bundled up in what I was doing."

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I asked him.

"I monologuing you ass hole shut up." he said.

"I don't have time for this you drama queen." he said. "if she left then we need to go after her."

"you aint gonna be able to find her. You know how many stories I got back and my mom or my sister would tell me stories about how she took off after me and was gone for days but never found me."

"there's a difference between me and a 9-year-old kid." I said to him.

"and what's that?" he asked me.

"I have access to an unlimited amount of money and resources. I'm gonna find my wife."

"and you should." he said to me "if you love her then go after, cause if you don't you'll lose her forever."

"That's not an option for me."
