•The Next Day•
(Sora's POV)
"Hey Sora, isn't that Yuki and Haru?" Luca said as we walked through the school.
It was the day after we had sent the head to the Lee Mafia, and Luca had claimed his shoulder was healed enough to go to school.
"Huh?" I said looking where Luca was pointing.
"What's wrong with Yuki?" I muttered watching as the boy cried on Haru's shoulder.
"I don't know, let's go see." Luca said jogging over to them.
"Hey! Wait up!" I said running after him.
We skidded to a stop in front of them.
"Hey....you okay? What's wrong?" Luca said before I could.
"It's not the best time." Haru muttered as Yuki let go of him and walked into the boys bathroom.
"Why? What happened?" I said my eyes trained on the bathroom.
"His brother was murdered. The cops said he was apart of some sort of gang, um the Lee Mafia?"
That made me lose focus and look back at Haru. Luca and I exchanged looks.
"Apparently he was an assassin or some shit like that. And he did something to another gang, and that gang left his head in the Lee's territory. I kinda don't get why it's affecting Yuki so bad, he barely even knew his brother, he said they only talked once before."
"I think I'm gunna be sick." I muttered taking a step backward and running into the restroom.
"Sora!" Luca called after me.
I made it to a toilet before I threw up.
"Shit man." I muttered running my hand through my hair, "I'm totally screwed."
The sound of crying caught my attention. 'Oh yeah,' I thought gulping, 'Yuki is in here.'
"Hey..." I said knocking on the stall where the crying was coming from.
"Yuki, it's me Sora. I don't know if you remember me...but I just wanted to say I know how your feeling." I said leaning my head against the door.
"R-really?! You know how it feels to find out your brother was in a mafia and got his head removed from his body?!" His sharp voice came from inside the stall.
I sighed and turned around putting my back against the stall, sliding down it so I was on the floor.
"Well no....but I know what it feels like to lose someone." I said closing my eyes remembering what happened.
"Luca and I used to have this friend. She was like an older sister to us, tho she was the same age. We had been best friends for years, tho we never told our parents about her."
'We didn't want her in danger.' I thought as a tear slid down my cheek. Yuki has stopped crying.
"We were 14 when it happened. By then we had know her since we were 10. We were walking home from the gas station." I chuckled.
