This whole week was completely boring. Jacob bought me a new camera from a Black Friday sale. He knew I loved taking pictures. I printed the old ones I had of us on my old camera and kept them in a box. I took out a piece of paper and taped it onto the box.

Rose and Jacob's Memories it read. The front door opened and I hid the box in my closet.

"Merry Christmas Eve," he said while handing me bags from the mall. He gave me a small hug and I ran to the living room to put the bags under the Christmas tree we had put up. We were going to have a huge celebration tomorrow at our place with the whole group. Every one kept coming by to drop off their gifts for others. Jacob went to go run some errands while I was making the decorations and playing with my new camera. I've been taking pictures with Jacob since the day we met. It was a way of keeping our memories all in one place. On the back of each picture, I wrote the date it was taken, and the title of the memory. I even took pictures of us when we would fool around. Not like that. Cough cough.

Anyways, I was excited for what Jacob had gotten me. My gift was hiding in the kitchen. My phone rang and I read the caller ID. Kate.

        "Hellooo?" I answered.

"You're so cute when you say hello. My mom thinks you're cute," she said.

"Aw. What did you call me for?"

"I need help with this gift I got for Justin. Can you come over with your car?"

"Alrighty. Be there in 10 minutes." I hung up the phone and ran around the house looking for Jacob. The first place I checked was obviously the kitchen. I checked the basement, the washrooms, the living room, the front hall, and the front and back yards. I went to the bedroom last and he was sitting behind the bed doing something.

"Whatcha doin'?" I said while jumping onto the bed and crossing my legs.

"Nothing!" He replied while throwing something in the air and quickly catching it.

"What's that?" He didn't answer. He turned around and frowned.

"I don't know how to wrap gifts..." He said. He held the box in front of me and I laughed. I guess the present was inside the box so if he needed help wrapping, no one would know the gift still. Smart. I grabbed the wrapping paper, scissors, and tape from his hands and began to wrap the box. Jacob watched as my little fingers worked their magic and I propped a bow onto the top. He gave me a big grin and kissed my forehead while running down to the living room. I walked behind and grabbed my jacket from the couch.

"I'm going to Kate's to help her with bringing her gift. So I'll be back soon."

"Alright," he said. He turned the living room lights off so he could plug in the lights to the tree. The whole tree lit up into multiple different colours. It looked so pretty. I grabbed my keys and left the house. When I walked outside, there was a boy struggling to pull a wagon of boxes.

        "Here, I'll help," I offered.

        "Thanks," he said.

"Where exactly are you taking this?"

"To the other side of the neighborhood," he said while he continued pulling the wagon. My eyes widened.

"I can just help you with my car then! It'll take way too long like this," I said. I told him to wait in that spot which was only about a block away from the house. I started the car and helped the boy place his stuff inside. He got into the front seat and he directed me to where he lived.
