I opened the front door to my house, and slammed it close. The second time I've seen this guy, and I coincidentally bumped into him again? God's really playing jokes with me now, eh? Why of all people did it have to be him.. I don't want to see him, I don't want something to happen like we become friends or something, like no.

Why did I even feel like this? He was just a person, but my mind couldn't stop thinking about that incident. Magnificent, what would he think of me now?  All these thoughts ran through my head, spinning like a tornado, crashing into a wall like a tsunami, and creating an earthquake wanting to make me break out into tears. All I could imagine is how embarrassing the scene looked. I must've looked drunk or something, like I was on a hangover.

The weather outside was calming down. The storm clouds finally decided to let the sun have the spotlight for the rest of the day, but it was soon to be sun set. I needed to get my mind off everything, so I slipped on my Doc Martens, grabbed my bag, and was on a walk. The cement outside was wet, and shiny. Rainbows shone within certain spots, and giant puddles were sitting around to be evaporated. I was heading to the dance studio, the one where I went to cheer myself up when feeling sad.

"Hey Rose! Why in so late?" That was Mallory; she was the head of the studio. She managed everything going on, and she was also the dance instructor. She choreographed some dances for me when I was a kid. She usually wasn't here when I came to the studio, that's why I didn't mention her as one of the people I've spoken to through the years, but for some reason, she was here today.

"Hey Mallory... Um, just came to get my mind off things. Had an incident today, and I can't seem to get over the fact it happened." My voice seemed a little lower than usual. I just don't speak to Mallory in general, but to be fair, I have not seen her for a long time.

"Well I was going to close up the studio to finish off the day, but if you want you can close up when you're done," she said while passing me the keys.

"Of course I will, which should be in probably an hour." Mallory was a pretty girl. Tall, pale skin, strawberry blonde hair, and she had blue eyes. She was amazing at dancing, probably one of the best I've ever seen, but one time she told me she didn't want to use her talent to be popular. Mallory wanted to use it on others, and help the ones who wanted to pursue their dreams as well. She even told me one day I'd be handed down the studio because she saw great potential in me. I honestly laughed at her when she told me that, but she was actually serious. We'll just have to see what happens.

"Rose, just to let you in on the news, we bought a new microphone for the studio, and I know you're into singing as well, so you can use it if you want," she said smiling.

"Thanks. I'll be sure to use it."

"Alright," She said walking out the doors. Mallory turned afterwards wanting to tell me something else as well.

"Oh and Rose, if you ever feel alone, please come talk to me. I'm always here for you, I always have been. I've watched you grow since a little girl, and I want to see you become big things in life. I just don't want you to do it alone."

I took her words wisely. I really did trust her, and she was right. She's actually known me longer than anyone besides my parents; I just never spoke to her. I was too shy to speak to others about my feelings. "Thanks Mallory. I can always count on you."

As I entered the studio, I could notice the floors had been polished. They better have used the right polish, because it's bad to use it on dance floors. Someone could easily slip. I inserted my dance CD into the stereo and grabbed the microphone. I was amazed by how they had two types, a microphone and a headset. Since I was dancing, I grabbed the headset instead. I changed the tracks until it rested on an upbeat song.
