"Oh, I used to be your baby
Used to be your pride and joy
You used to take me dancing
Just like any other boy
But now you've found another partner
And left me like a broken toy"

Brian had finished writing out the lyrics to yet another song about you in his notebook. Ever since the breakup, he just couldn't take his mind off of you. You were all he was able to think about every second of every day. Not a minute passed by where you weren't on his mind.

He wished he was able to travel back in time to change what had happened between the two of you. Roger had tried setting him up with one of the bands groupies which he was against, but the blonde had insisted. Brian absolutely hated the idea and he resisted.

The next day, you had heard all about a story that Brian had hooked up with someone else. Even though Brian didn't do a thing, the story got twisted to make it seem like he was seeing someone behind your back. You didn't hesitate to call things off with him.

Ever since, Brian was a mess. He had tried to take his mind off of you by songwriting, but every word he wrote on the page always ended being about you and his love for you.

The guitarist let out a heavy sigh as he got up from his seat. He took a glance out his window, seeing how the sun was up and the sky was blue. It's been a while since he went out. He thought to himself for a moment before grabbing his coat without a second thought.

If he just sat around at home moping, nothing would ever improve for him. And he would never have the chance to get you back.

He slipped his coat on before putting on his shoes. He looked at himself in the mirror and fixed up his hair so he didn't look like he's been hibernating for the past few days.

Brian smiled a bit to himself once he looked somewhat presentable. He was quite proud of himself for getting himself up and getting ready to head out. It was just the first step of moving on.

Putting on his shoes, Brian headed out the door to be met with the fresh air hitting his face. The smile on his face only grew wider as he took a deep breath, taking it all in.

He started walking around the town, not quite sure where he was going at first. As long as he was out and out of the house, he was happy.

The curly haired man put his hands in his pockets, looking around as he was on his walk. On his way, he spotted this small little cafe that he always used to go to with you. A small smile appeared on his lips when all the good memories of the past came rushing back.

He sighed quietly before walking in, wanting to check it out just for old times sake. After all, he hasn't even stepped inside the cafe ever since the breakup.

The place hadn't changed a bit since the last time he went. It was a little quieter than it usually was but he didn't mind it, in fact Brian preferred it that way anyways.
