There are times when the mind is dealt
such a blow it hides itself in insanity.
While this may not seem beneficial, it
is. There are times when reality is
nothing but pain, and to escape that
pain the mind must leave reality
behind.
A Few Weeks Later...
Sabrina POV
I was sitting at a table sketching in my notepad. Ryan sat in front of me eating her food.
"You really are amazing at drawing."she says and I smile.
"Thank you."i say.
Christian walks up to us carrying a huge box with Ms. Mary behind him.
"What's in the box?"i ask.
"Me and Christian are going to the soup kitchen to deliver food."Ms. Mary says.
"You deliver food to the soup kitchen?"i ask.
"That's her third home. She always down there helping out."Ryan says while smiling.
"I do what I can."Ms. Mary say smiling.
"They love her down there."Christian says.
"I bet they do. That's really great that you do that Ms. Mary."i say.
"I need you girls to watch the store and watch those four in the back. I will try my best to make it back in time but no promises. You two can just close for me."she says and I become nervous.
I hope I will make it on time to the the shelter.
"Okay."Ryan says.
They both walk out of the door.
I continue my drawing.
"I'm so glad you're here. I have no one else to talk to besides Christian and mama."she says.
I completely understand why.
The other two girls are messy and aren't my type of females to be around.
The other two are grown men who don't pay anybody attention except Ms. Mary.
"You are my only friend Ry."i say.
"Really?"she ask with so much excitement in her voice.
"Really."i say smiling.
"I Ryan Brewster officially declare that I will be Sabrina Parker bestfriend for the rest of her life."she says smiling.
I laugh at her.
"You're stuck with me now boo."she says.
"I'll hold you to that."i say and she smiles.
A customer walks in.
"I got this one."she says getting up.
I finish my drawing.
*
Ms. Mary walk in as I finish mopping the floor."I'm sorry that i'm late."Ms. Mary says.
