Sabrina POV

I was sitting in a booth working on a new sketch. Ms. Mary put a plate of food on the table.

"Thank you."i say and she nods.

She goes back in the back. I heard the door open and I see Trenton.

He sits in the booth across from me and I sigh.

"Well hello to you too."he says while laughing.

"Hi Trenton."i say.

Alexis walks up to the table.

"Hey Trenton. Is there anything I can get you?"she says with the biggest smile on her face.

"No i'm good."she says.

"Are you sure there isn't anything I can get you?"she ask and I roll my eyes.

"He said he was good now go away."i say and she gives me a look before leaving.

He laughs.

"What was that about?"he ask.

"She rubs me the wrong way and she was being annoying. The last thing I want is to deal with her on my lunch break."i say.

"Hmm."he says.

"What?"i ask.

"Nothing."he says and he smiles.

"Why are you here Trenton?"i ask.

"I'm here for you."he says.

"Me?"i ask.

"You heard me."he says.

"You're here to convince me to come work at your shop?"i ask.

"Amongst other things."he says.

"Like what?"I ask.

"You owe me some information about your past."he says.

"Here?"i ask.

"If not now, when?"he ask.

"What do you want to know?"i ask.

"How is someone like you single?"he ask.

"Someone like me?"i ask.

"You're beautiful and amazing. How are you single?"he says.

"I never had the boyfriend thing. For me it was always school, work, and home. I didn't have time for boys and I wasn't really looking. I wanted to get in college and make sure to get away from Jake but that plan failed. He made sure I didn't go anywhere. My grades started slipping a little but I did graduate. He stole money from me and didn't care about me."i say.

"Why didn't you leave when you graduated?"he ask.

"I had nowhere else to go. He was all I had. I don't know who my birth mom is and my mother who adopted me died. So I had to deal with him which was hard. I didn't have any money saved up because he stole it all from me."i say.

"So that's how you started living with my mom? You couldn't stay there any more because it was too painful."he says.

"Something like that."i say.
