Chapter Thirty-One

"Is it because you already found her?"

Jennie's world turned upside down. Lisa has nothing to do with her. Everything that she planned with Lisa started to crumble.

"I heard you talking to your private investigator. You're going to dump me now because you finally found your long lost lover? Is this just a joke to you? You fucking play with..."

"Because I wanted to make it official."

Jennie can't utter a word after that. She can't absorb the words that Lisa just said.

"I can't do this anymore because I want you to be my girlfriend; official girlfriend. Yes, I already found Irene that is why I'm doing this. Irene will get back with Lucas and there will be no problem for us. I don't care about dad's condition anymore, I care about you; about us." Lisa stood up from her seat "Jennie, will you be my girlfriend?" She opened a tiny velvet box and  kneel in front of the girl she wants to spend the rest of her life with

"Yes, of course! I want to be your girlfriend!" She threw herself to Lisa "Why do you have to say that? I thought you're going to leave me for Irene."

Lisa hugged Jennie tighter, closing her eyes "It would be boring if I'll just propose to you." She pulled away from the hug and slipped the ring to Jennie's finger "I love you."

"I love you too." She pecked Lisa's lips "I guess I'm hired as your girlfriend."

Lisa chuckled "Yes, welcome to my life."

After the unexpected proposal of Lisa, they enjoyed the rest of the night as if they were still teenagers playing around the city of Seoul.

"We lost her, sir. I can't find her here."

"What do you mean we lost her? You just fucking said the other day that she works there!"

"I talked to her boss and he said that she resigned few days ago. I asked why but he refused to answer that is why I paid him, you also need to pay me extra for..."

"Cut that bullshit! I need Irene's whereabouts!" 

"Well he said that she said about her son and about migrating to another country."

"Wait, what? Son? You mean she has a son?!"

"That's what the owner of the shop said."

Lucas ended the call and called another person. He can't believe what his private investigator said. Irene has a son.

"Is that the reason why you're hiding Irene from me?"

"Aren't you tired about that bullshit, Lucas?"

He gritted his teeth in anger "Bullshit? Bullshit is you got Irene pregnant! She has your child and you got the balls to play with Jennie? Oh, I wonder what Jennie will react if she finds out that you have a child with Irene. I'll go back to Busan tomorrow to tell dad about this. You can't have Irene and Jennie in the end. I will make father believe that you hid these everything from us."

"Where did you get that information? Lucas, you have to calm and don't tell father about what you discovered. It's not what it seems like!"

"Fuck you, Lisa! It doesn't matter where I got that information because you're doomed now!" He ended the call again, when he turned around his two twins are looking at him

"Is it true? Lisa have a child with Irene?" The youngest asked

"Are you going really going to tell father about that?" Dave asked too

"Your sister is that saint after all." He walked pass by them "I'm going back to Busan to tell father all the things that his saint daughter did." He informed his twins before walking out the house

"Lucas already found the truth."

"About Irene's location?"

"No, about Irene's son and he thinks that it's mine. He's going to tell dad about it, you know what will happen if father believed him?"

Jennie didn't know what to answer.

"It means he will call off this agreement between your father. He will take you away from me. We can't have the same fate with Lucas and Irene. Lucas is not using his brain sometimes."

"I think it's time for you to get Irene and her son. If Marco believed him then at least you have Irene to tell them the truth." Jennie suggested

Their fourth date just ended but Lisa didn't expect it will end like this, another problem to solve.

Three days passed after Lisa asked Jennie to be her girlfriend, they've been having fun for the passed days, they visited and enjoyed Bukchon Hanok Village, Lotte World and many more but their happy time has to end.

"Book us a flight to Hawaii, take the earliest flight." Lisa stopped the car in front of their car "We're going to get Irene."

Lisa got out first and opened the door for Jennie.

"Hawaii? You said Irene is here in Seoul." Jennie asked while they are walking towards to the front door

"Before I went back to Busan, the day I met you, I wrote a letter for her and asked my private investigator to give that letter to Irene if we find Irene before Lucas does..."

"Irene, I still can't understand why you needed to runaway but I'll try to find you and if you're reading this it means I finally found you. Don't runaway again. How are you and your child? I hope you're both doing great. I'm doing fine if you'll ask, I met this beautiful soul in Seoul but father wants to include me to a marriage game he created with his best friend. Do you want to hear something interesting? The thing is that I already liked that girl, I guess I already moved on. If you'll ask about Lucas, he is still oblivious about his son, we're still depriving him the truth he deserves. Let's make things right from now on. There is a number behind this paper, it's the number of my private investigator, contact him and he will bring to our paradise. Do you still remember our little dream before? He will bring you there. Wait for me there no matter what. I'll see you soon."

"And what makes you think that Irene cooperated this time?"

She snuggled closer to her lover like a baby hungry for affection"I'm certain that she's there with her son. Irene had enough time to hide and prepare for this."

Jennie giggled at her girlfriend's actions, their bed makes her feel in clouds but with Lisa snuggled to her makes her feel like floating "You're such a baby, you know that?"

She started planting light and sensual kisses to Jennie's neck "Do you want to baby me tonight?"

"I'm tired of all the activities we did the whole day, I don't think I still have a energy for another one." Jennie said with a little teasing "Can't you wait a little longer?"

"I can, as long as it's you." Lisa planted a final kiss to Jennie's neck before looking up to her eyes "I'll wait because I respect and love you."

Just like a teenager would feel if her crush liked her back, her heart fluttered in bliss that Lisa's giving to her "And I love you more for that."
