Chapter Thirty-six

Third Person's POV

"Lisa, there are paparazzi outside the airport, I can't go inside."  Jennie texted her girlfriend

Jennie glanced again outside the car, the paparazzi were still taking pictures of her.

"Did you call the airport security?" She asked the driver that Lisa sent to fetch her

"Yes, Ms. Kim, they'll be here in a few." He answered politely

"On my way with the airport securities." Lisa texted back

'How they found out that I'll be here?' Jennie asked herself

Someone knocked on the window and she saw the love of her life waving and smiling at her, at that moment all she wanted to do was to throw herself to Lisa.

She opened the door and did what she wanted to do; she hugged Lisa like there is no tomorrow. She doesn't care anymore about the paparazzi around them.

"I missed you too." Lisa spoke teasingly

"And I'm gonna miss you more." Jennie's tears started to fall as she stared her Lisa's lovesome face

"Virtual hugs and kisses aren't that bad." Lisa cheered up her soon to be fiancé

Jennie chuckled "We'll be the headline of every news tomorrow."

She then realized that the paparazzi weren't trying to get close to them.

"Paparazzi aren't that aggressive." Lisa gently freed herself from Jennie's hug "I invited them actually."

Jennie frowned "What? You know that I hate..."

"Because I want them to witness this." Lisa kneeled on one knee and fetched the tiny velvet box from her pocket "This is not romantic as what I wanted it to be but I want to propose to you before I go." She opened the box and asked "Ms. Jennie Kim, will you marry me?"

Jennie on the other hand can't explain how she feels. The people around them vanished and all she can hear is her pounding heart, telling her to say yes.

"Of course, I will marry you! Yes!" Jennie enthusiastically answered "Yes, Lisa."

Lisa released the air she's been holding "There I thought you weren't ready yet." She chuckled and slipped the 24k ring to Jennie's ringfinger

Jennie pulled Lisa up and engulfed her again in a tight embrace "I love you."

Lisa hugged her fiancé tighter "I love you more."

"Stop staring at your engagement ring, Jen." Jisoo threw a pillow to Jennie

"I can't stop thinking about what just happened. I'm finally engaged to Lisa." Jennie dreamily said while hugging the pillow the Jisoo threw to her "I just wish she could stay longer."

"She's not only the Lisa who is in love with you, she's also the Engr. Lisa Manoban who needs to run her construction company." Rose said who is sitting comfortably on the sofa next to Jennie

"I know that is why I didn't object when she said that she needs to go back to Paris."

Jisoo wrapped the blanket around her body. "Your bed is so comfy."

"Dylan said that Irene and her son will move here with Marco tomorrow. This mansion will be livelier with a kid running around." Rose imagined playing with Lucas' son

"Speaking of kids... I wanna have kids soon." Jisoo pouted "Though Dave and Dylan are the same age as Lisa and Lucas they're not as mature as them."
