Chapter Thirty-seven [M]

Third Person's POV

One year later

"How's work, love?"

Lisa smiled as soon as she heard Jennie's voice and saw the beautiful face of her fiancé on the screen.

"Just the usual, love. I'm going to meet another client tomorrow. How about your day? How's the meeting with the client?" She removed her shoes before sitting on her bed

"It went well. We'll start to supply them dairy products next week." Mo entered his aunt's room and lie down next to Jennie

"I miss you, auntie Lisa!"

Lisa waved to the camera "I miss you too, Mo. Where is your daddy?"

"He is with the cowboys. He said that he needs to learn fast so that auntie Jennie can fly there soon." The kid said that made the couple laugh. "You remember your last visit here, auntie?"

Lisa thought for a second before she answered "I think two months after your daddy came back from the sanctuary, three months ago. Why is that?"

"Three months? So my babies are three months old now? You were there, right? When Dreamer gave birth to her puppies? I should ask mommy to make them a cake." He jumped off the bed and run outside

"I can't believe that you didn't check if Dreamer is a girl or boy before you bought her."

Lisa laughed "Mo is there to take care of the puppies."

They talked for the rest of the night. That was their usual routine for a year after Lisa went to Paris.

Lucas was released from the sanctuary five months ago and he shook everyone when he said that he wants to take over the ranch so that Jennie can be with Lisa in Paris.

While Dylan and Dave are busy for their training to be the next CEOs of their empire. They didn't want the position at first because of the responsibilities they will shoulder but they had no choice because Lucas gave up his position as the next CEO.

There were many things that happened for the past year but the most important part is that Irene is pregnant again. Dylan and Dave teased their sister for being so slow in making a baby.

When Lisa visited them three months ago, they planned to have a quadruple wedding since Dylan and Dave already proposed to their girlfriend.

"Why I can't contact her? Is she that busy to turn her phone off?" Lisa tried to call Jennie again but still no use

"Ms. Lisa, someone is in the lobby asking for you but she didn't have an appointment with you." Her secretary said

She glared at her phone before turning her swivel chair to her secretary "Tell her to make an appointment first and can come back after."

Her secretary nodded before calling the receptionist.

"Ms. Lisa, the woman wants to talk to you." She handed the phone to her boss

Lisa groaned before taking the phone.

"Yah, Lalisa! Are you really this strict?! Get you ass in here in one minute before I flip your whole building up!"

Lisa's eyes widened in horror as she recognized her fiancé's voice "Jennie?"

"One minute, Manoban!" Then Jennie ended the call

Being the scaredy-cat, she immediately stormed off from her office and went straight down to the lobby.
