Lisa's POV

"Sometimes staring can be rude but staring like that can melt someone."

I rolled my eyes on my best friend "Shut up. I thought you will go out today?"

"Yup, it's just eight in the morning, Lisa." It's time for her to roll her eyes on me "She's doing great. She's a natural."

She joined me watching Jennie talking to Mr. Im. Discussing some matters about the ranch.

Some of the cowboys greeted us 'Good morning' which we reciprocated with a smile. The stables were clean and neat, the stallions were all groomed. Just a nice ranch, I just hope we can solve all the problems here before it's too late.

"I know. Dad won't trust her if she's not good at this. What's the name of your date again?"

"Kai. His name is Kai." She smiled "He's the best."

I held both of her shoulders and said "Tell him this, if he hurt you consider himself dead." While looking to her eyes

She grinned "Thank you, monkey." She tapped my right cheek "Tell that to Jennie and Lucas too."

Her last antics made me chuckle "You can't kill people with that height of yours."

She pushed me slightly "Idiot."

"Moron." I fought back

Jennie went to us with a smile "I have a good news!"

"Well, tell us." I said to her

"I or should I say we already found a solution for the poisonous plants and forage-damaging insect problem here in the ranch."

Nayeon and I looked at each other, impressed how she easily came up with a solution.

"Just like what we did with the milking problem. We're going to talk with the neighboring ranches, Mr. Im said that ranch at the north side is having a financial problem. We're going to invest in their company in exchange with their practices how to overcome our problem. How's that?" Jennie said her idea with confidence

I figured the solution out faster than I thought. The truth is I already have the solutions for all our problems here, I just let Jennie to figure them out by herself. My Jennie smarter than I thought.

"That's a great idea, Jen. So, when are you planning to talk to our possible business partner?"

Nayeon excused herself when her father, Mr. Im called her.

"As soon as possible, like tomorrow?"

I frowned "Why are you asking me like that?"

She giggled "You'll drive me to her our neighbor ranch, Lisa. I'm asking if you're free tomorrow."

Her giggles are like music to my ears. I'm indeed gaga over you, Jennie Kim.

"Of course, I'm free always when it comes to you." I slightly pinched her mandu cheek "Lunch?"

"Mr. Im invited us for a boodle fight with the cowboys. I already said yes to him, is it okay with you?"

I reached for her hands and smiled sweetly at her "Of course. I'm glad that you're growing close with the people around us here. You're going out from your comfort zone."

She pulled me closer to her and tiptoed to kiss my lips "It's because of you. I know that this ranch is your second home so it also means that the people here are you second family."

How can I not fall in love with this lady?
