Hindi mo lang alam

"Ubusin mo na 'yan para makaalis na tayo."

Napalingon ako kay Rafa na tapos nang kumain ng breakfast. I looked at my plate at napansing hindi ko pa halos nagagalaw ito.

I couldn't stop thinking about my realizations yesterday.

Colton has changed. He's having the time of his life and it doesn't include me. He's in a happy relationship, and having me around him wouldn't do any good. Panggulo lang ako.

That's why I've already made my decision. Whatever feeling I still have for Colton, I shouldn't entertain it. It's wrong to. However clichè it may sound, kailangan ko nang mag-move on.

Napalunok ako.

Right. And moving on requires not seeing the other half—which is not that hard, lalo na ngayong tapos naman na ang shoot ko sa The Lodge. I should definitely stop myself from thinking about him too.

"Ano nga ulit 'tong appointment natin ngayon?" I absentmindedly asked Rafa while we're on our way.

Halos mapanganga siya.

"What the fuck, Nari? No'ng isang araw ko pa ipinaliliwanag sa 'yo ang tungkol dito," she said while shaking her head.

Halos lumubog ako sa car seat sa takot. Rafa can be very scary sometimes and that makes her a more effective manager.

"Okay, I'm sorry... You know I've been in some sort of a distracting situation," I said while trying to act pitiful.

Inirapan niya ako. "There's this huge recycling company who's looking for their advocacy ambassador, they chose you obviously..." she sarcastically said.

"According to their company representative na mineet ko kahapon, they'll have to take videos of you while saying some details about their campaign. That's like the highlight of this project of yours. But for now, their CEO wants to meet you. So the taping schedule is still unsure."

Tumango-tango na lang ako kahit hindi rin naman masyadong naintindihan.

"That's weird, huh... What am I gonna talk about with their CEO for the whole time, if we won't tape yet?" I lazily stated.

Nagkibit-balikat siya.

"I don't know, maybe he wants you to really understand their advocacy by heart," she said with a chuckle. "So, prepare your stupid ass to suffer," sabi niya bago tumawa.

Tiningnan ko siya nang masama saka pinagkukurot sa tagiliran. Mayamaya'y hindi ko maiwasang magtanong. "Kasama naman kita,'diba?"

My lips parted when she shook her head.

"Nope," may diin na sabi niya. "I'll just drop you off. Tawag ako ni Boss Rix sa headquarters." Ang president ng entertainment company namin ang tinutukoy niya.

"What? Pa'no 'ko? Mag-Grab na lang papuntang movie shoot?" tanong ko dahil may schedule pang taping kasama si Kaiden pagkatapos nito.

"Ofcourse not! Babalik ako, ano ba?" she said like I'm a dumbass for not knowing the obvious.

I sighed in relief.

Nang makarating ay sinamahan muna ako ni Rafa papunta sa contact person niya bago nagpaalam na rin para umalis.

The company building was fascinating. This seems to be one of those promising and rising ones. Nginitian ko ang sekretaryang nagturo sa akin ng pinto kung nasaan ang CEO.
